Seems strange that after their manager and assistant manager have both said it wasn't a foul they complain about it 2 1/2 days later. I wouldn't be suprised to see that because of some 'exceptional' circumstance the FA will find a way to charge him. Hopefully paranoia on my part but just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you. And I've seen it happen before. We play Arsenal soon don't we?

Somehow they seem to be able to make an exception when it is City involved. The fact it wasn't actually a foul is unlikely to stop them if they decided to do it! Let's hope common sense continues to prevail above the hysterical witchhunt?
I think they only started banning players after the event in order to 'do' us in the 1st place so it's hardly surprising when they bend the rules to get us on other occasions.

By Adrian Durham, Stan Collymoore and Micky Quinn. A huge witch hunt has taken place on that radio station for the past 3 days and they dont seem like they will rest until De Jong is banned for life.....Wankers!!

IMO there is no doubt all the furore has come about because some of the media and especiallyTalksport has gone overboard about it and it will be interesting to see/hear how this continues today.Brazil has already been heard warning Irani re what he says on the matter. As someone said Matt le Tiss has put his 2 penneth in now but the real aggression has been Durham and Collymore.
I am 100% sure that City will have been on the ball listening , reading everything being said and perhaps making it very clear that they were doing so.So far one paper has been banned from what I hear and maybe something similar has happened or might regarding pundits/commentators

What if anything did they do as a club, after the two footed lunge to the shin of Anichebe of Everton, just a mere 18 months ago?

It was just a fucking challenge. Hard? Sure. Against the rules of football? No. Trying to harm the player? No.
It's fucking hypocritical all this. These things happen in football. I feel sorry for Ben Arfa just like I feel sorry for any player badly injured but it's not the fucking injury that makes challenge bad. Player can escape injury and challenge can be horrible. And player can break his leg for smallest of contacts.
But I've moaned about this million times before. It has become fucking soft game and some of the dickheads in football governing bodies want to make it non-contact sport.
