Hope no-one was hurt, but there again, you would think by now their players would have invested in some decent security ?
It's not like they can't afford it and it's not like this robbery is a one off

LIVERPOOL, England — Everton defender Phil Jagielka has been robbed of jewelry in his home while he was watching his team play on TV.
Police said on Thursday that the 27-year-old England defender, who is recovering from knee surgery, was threatened by three men with a knife and forced to hand over jewelry and the keys to his Range Rover. No one was hurt and the car was later found abandoned.
The incident happened while Jagielka was watching Everton win 4-0 at Hull in the third round of the Carling Cup. Jagielka has been out of action since April, when he ruptured a knee ligament in a 2-1 loss at home to Manchester City.
Excuse the mistakes in the report..Its from a Canadian site.

You know they were scousers cause they could only afford one knife between them. I wonder if they took turns holding it.

these tossers are upping the ante.

Torres will be begging us to sign him if this keeps up.
Read he lives in Knutsford, so our players are just as likely to be targeted at some point, if the scouse robbers can think beyond Liverpool and Everton.

Everton defender Phil Jagielka was threatened with a knife by thieves who broke into his Cheshire home.
The 27-year-old was watching his team play Hull City on television in the Carling Cup when three men stormed into the house in Knutsford.
He was forced to hand over jewellery and the keys to his Range Rover car after being threatened with a knife.
Police said nobody was hurt. Jagielka is the 11th Merseyside footballer to be burgled in recent years.
Cheshire Police said: "Nobody was hurt during the incident and the car was found abandoned a short distance away."
The England international's two young children are understood to have been at home at the time of the raid although his wife was out.
Previous raids
A spokesman for the club told BBC News: "Phil was shaken by the incident.
"This is perfectly understandable because he is a husband and father first and a footballer second.
"Phil is helping police with their inquiries."
A police spokesman added: "The homeowner was threatened with a knife and forced to hand over jewellery and the keys to his Range Rover car."
In May, burglars broke into the Woolton home of Jagielka's Everton teammate Steven Piennar.
Other victims have included Liverpool players Steven Gerrard, Dirk Kuyt, Pepe Reina and Lucas Leiva.
What makes it all the worse is he has a missis and kids.
Some right low lifes out there

Going slightly off topic here, but in our local paper it was proudly announced that the police had caught 31 people driving without a seatbelt in a driving without a seatbelt crackdown. Leaves the way clear for the proper criminals doesn't it.

What sort of man has "jewelry" to steal?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Rappers?
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."
