I don't know - and don't give a filthy shit - if he has been permitted a trip home and the local media are playing on that, maybe fed by the bloody british press.... if not now it will occur again and again because is one of the last and more spicy argument of the bitter anti-city, anyway.

As stated above, I bet you any money that therein lies the crux of the whole issue
"they don't appreciate you enough Carlos"
"not showing you enough respect Carlos"
"you have been the best player by a mile, why are you not the best paid"

I partly eat my words posted on the other thread because it's due,
Still I am widely convinced that outside interests are playing a wide role on all this shit and the bastard sneaky agent is rubbing his hands at the thought of what profit can make on a move to Spain.
My votes are for the Club acting with good heart toward Carlos but with the utmost and powerfull ruthless toward the Agent.

This is why I think its more the agent - why the fuck would City want to agree an extension to his contract if he's making noises about being homesick and wanting to move back to Argentina?
The whole thing sounds like a nightmare.

Why would his agent be asking for one? Doesn't sound like he's been working for Carlos imo, more for himself.

I know a lot of what is written is bollocks and hyperbole, but the sheer disdain towards the media this thread started out with was pathetic and has made some of you lot look rather silly.
With regards Tevez, I have to say i'm ambivalent. If HE genuinely doesn't want to be here, then I am not all that arsed if he goes. He appears to be 100% professional on the pitch which is what counts to the fans, but the way he continuously disrespects the manager in public when substituted is simply not acceptable. If he does that in public, how does he treat Mancini behind closed doors.
Also, by asking for the transfer he would have waived his right to a big pot of cash for the remainder of his contract which means the "greed" element seems a bit of a red herring.
Significantly, over recent months, the Club has also received numerous requests from Carlos’ representative to renegotiate and improve his playing contract as well as more recently a request to extend that contract by another year.
