I think there are two problems with Tevi`s:
Problem one : He is a south american, and you all know what that means. They all have problems, disciplinary problems. I really don`t know what is the problem with him an Mancio, he plays him often, he was named by Mancio as captain, he is the highest earner, what the hell must be the problem?!?

I know a lot of what is written is bollocks and hyperbole, but the sheer disdain towards the media this thread started out with was pathetic and has made some of you lot look rather silly.

With regards Tevez, I have to say i'm ambivalent. If HE genuinely doesn't want to be here, then I am not all that arsed if he goes. He appears to be 100% professional on the pitch which is what counts to the fans, but the way he continuously disrespects the manager in public when substituted is simply not acceptable. If he does that in public, how does he treat Mancini behind closed doors.

Also, by asking for the transfer he would have waived his right to a big pot of cash for the remainder of his contract which means the "greed" element seems a bit of a red herring.

Not if Real Madrid have offered Kia more money to get them Tevez than he stands to make from him staying at City.

First, this sort of thing has been going on with alot of other clubs. For Tevez read Rooney, Ronaldo, Fabregas, Gerrard, Torres and so on. Sure, each case is special in its own sweet way, but "player A is brassed off with club B and wants move" scenario is as frequent as sunrise and sunset. Welcome to football in the 21st century.

Second, I think that the club should see this as an opportunity to lay down some ground rules. They've made a good start with the statement. Nobody is now saying that Mancini is under threat, it's pretty clear that Bobby is their man, he enjoys the backing of the owners and if players, agents, or whoever don't like it then tough. They need to stick to their guns and give a clear message, not just to Carlos or the present crop of players, but to any future incomers - "no one is taking us for a ride".

I for one won't be mourning his departure, and unless Mario Balotelli grows up very quickly Tevez can take him with him. We played excellently without Tevez yesterday, and if he goes we'll hopefully find a replacement who isn't self obsessed and likely to throw a wobbler when he doesn't get things exactly his way. I'm more concerned with Balotelli as it appears we have signed an utter lemon, albeit a hugely talented one. When everyone else is pulling together and showing they have ambition, the last thing we need are sulky, childish strikers - and we currently have at least three of them. I'm trusting Mancini will buy more rounded individuals in January and in the summer.

Rooney handed in a transfer request did he not

Fabregas also told Wenger that he wanted to go

I'm pretty certain that whatever form the discussion was in Gerrard and C Ronaldo also did much the same thing

Cant we just move his kids over here with their mother, and keep them, give the woman a job cleaning the phones or working in the club shop 3 days a week???

Honestly, do we actually know why his kids arent here in England?

Hang on, im confused because now the problem appears to be that his agent thinks Carlos deserves more money, and wants to break club rules by negotiating another contract mid season.

WANKER!

I thought of the same for a long time but Have too much of respect of the Board of our Club for not thinking there something more against this plain solution...
I am absolutelly snob on withdrawing any chance of contact with non-business gossip, but I think I heard somewhat that he is having trouble with his missus and that is why he need to come there to stay with the daughter... dunno if any truth, though

If the issue is only with fucking Kia I reckon MCFC is tough enough to sort it out, if there is any truth in the gossip I mentioned that is a more complex matter...

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

The important thing is not to disrupt this season at all costs. It's four from five for the Chamion's League and we must be part of the four. That's by no means in the bag. I have confidence that Tevez will buckle down for that length of time. The trickiest thing is what to do about the captaincy. Carlos can't keep the band surely. Really Vinnie should get it but I suppose it might be difficult not to give it back to Kolo. For god's sake don't get on Carlos's back on the pitch. Let's focus on one thing. Winning isn't the main thing it's the only thing.

Sorry Carlos but you're going nowhere until at least the end of the season. After that if we can't agree a new contract you'll go on our terms. No Boca junior or any other team that can't pay the market price for your transfer and absolutely no loan which doesn't involve the other club paying your full wages or alternatively whatever wage you are prepared to accept.

The big difference between all the others and Tevez is the written request. If a player doesn't submit a written request he is still eligable for a loyalty bonus when sold, even if he stands in front of cameras and says he wants to go.

By submitting a written request Tevez is waiving any loayalty bonus, none of the other players mentioned had the balls (or were too greedy) to go that far.

i think the club needs to make a statement, a big bold fucking one.
not one like we regret carlos feels like this yadda... yadda...bullshit.

we need to lay down the rules, not to just tevez,to every player thats at the club,in fact to every player that intends to join this mighty club.

no one is bigger then this club,we pay your wages, its us that make the rules.
in times before we couldnt do that, but now we fuckin can,we are that big, and anyone or any player that thinks otherwise should be told where to fuckin go.

You mean something like..........

".....Yes, hello...., welcome to Sky......sorry to interupt but we've just had some breaking news......apparently there's been a serious accident at Carington Training Ground.............. we understand that a player has accidentally shot himself in the head, eight times......... unconfirmed reports that it may be former captain, Carlos Tevez.........."
