Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

This is turning ugly quickly.
On another note, here's what Micah has said on his twitter, pretty standard tbh.
"I can't say much on Carlos and he's a top guy, but whatever happens-onwards& upwards. Gaffer will be in control & we're focused on next game"

Let me get this straight - Neil Ashton has made a potentially libellous and career threatening claim about the owner picking the captain then goes on to say he was part of the inner sanctum which thrashed out the details of Yaya´s contract . Either this guy has an over inflated sense of self importance bordering on delusion or he is a knobcheese of the first order with masochistic tendencies. I have been prepared to give his shit a chance tbh but I´m veering towards the idea that he is a chancer

Thanks the Sheik for his understanding.
Sounds like we have negotiated a way out for him.

Ashton got this story from Joorabchian, not City. Anyone who thinks otherwise is an absolute idiot, probably running a ridiculous anti Platt agenda. The statement just out on Sky plus attendant threats from the Joorabchian Camp is a power play aimed at forcing City to back down from its refusal to allow Tevez to leave.

"Relationships with certain executives and individuals has broken down beyond repair" - Marwood and Cook apparently.
"Not got a personal issue with Mancini and thanks Sheikh Mansour for his understanding"
What a fucking mess.

I can foresee some more angry fist pumping on the desk by Garrrry Cook in the very near future.

Tevez confirms his relationship with certain executives and individuals at the club has broken down beyond repair.
He has no personal issue with Manager Roberto Mancini and thanks owner Sheikh Mansour for his understanding and support

I was told over a month ago how Ashton was getting his info on City. Posted it then. Every story he prints about City has been spot on.

As long as it isnt to another club then I dont care. If he suddenly crops up at the chavs / Real / Barca then ill be livid.
I imagine the understanding is more to do with his family though.

Does anyone get the feeling Gary Cook's days may be numbered after this?

Me to. I have not said a word on the situation. If he goes back to Argentina fair enough. Turns up in Spain and he is a class A c**t.

Based on what Tevez is doing now, he can fuck right off. This is a shameful way to be going about things.

Not at all, Cook has clearly done the right think and told Tevez's reps to fuck off, this is where all this crap is coming from.

One month in Argentina and he is ready to go at Real or Barca. In these situations i miss pure class characters like the Goat.
