Tevez, of all people would not have done that interview on the OS if he was about to hand in a transfer request.This is complete bollox and I'm surprised so many people are thinking that it could be true.

However, what does Carlos want? One minute its homesickness and retirement, the next its, a transfer request. Personally I think its a Kia Joorabchian ego trip. You don't do an interview with a player in two parts telling him exactly what he's got to say IN SPANISH, you ask him how he feels & if the reply you get is to your liking, you do the interview & if the result is still to your liking you put it out. The idea they forced Tevez to say that is childish & nowhere is it being claimed that he didn't answer the questions truthfully. The claim is that HE CHANGED HIS MIND after the Bolton incident. Tevez wanted to leave in the summer and it's clear that there has been all sorts of shit going down behind the scenes for a good while, stuff that was undoubtedly going on when the magazine interview took place.

It was filmed a few weeks ago & I've read rumours on mong of a bust up with Tevez' agent since then, where the brass at City have tried to get rid. Sounds more plausible to me than the rest of the contradictory stuff flying around imo & pretty much fits nicely as an explaination for everything that has happened including the slagging of the management.
