Tevez says he has no problem with the manager. Therefore his problems must be with Cook and Marwood.
He knows going home is not an option because no team in Argentina can afford him and we have the knap hand holding the remaining 3.5 years of a potentially broken contract
If there's a shread of truth in the "I'm homesick" scenario will his missus settle for Spain where the only credible alternative lies?
Thinking outside the box, who do we need most at this time when we're pushing for Champions league or even the title? Tevez (one of the top 3 strikers on the planet at this time) or Cook and Marwood?
If Cook and Marwood disapear would this placate tevez's problem? .. Not if the homesick thing is for real but we all know Tevez is'nt behind the statements made so far - he's far to dumb for that.
Massive gamble but like the old salesmans pitch (the half nelson) if you remove the problem the protagonist has to buy in or the whole story becomes make believe!
Execs are 2 a penny! Maybe good ones a little rarer! The question therefore remains if cook and marwood are removed would Tevez stay?

Players have sold out on it! .. Fans are seduced by it and managers are required (especially with our ownwers welth) to engage or jettison whatever personnel they see fit as long as the club moves forward. Now if the casualties are in the boardroom or on the pitch do our owners really care?
They want success and they aren't going to fuck about with sentimentallity!
The question remains: if Teves's goals get us into the CL this season is it worth geting rid of executive employees if thats the problem? and if this is flawed who do we contract to take Teves's place and push us on to CL qualification?
I disagree, if this happens the player becomes bigger than the club.
What if Silva has a shot rather than pass it to Tevez so he could score, can he complain about Silva and we have to get rid of him?
Mancini subs him for tactical reasons / give him a rest, he kicks off do we sack Mancini?
The two rivals for the Golden boot are Tevez and player X, do we buy player X and keep him in reserve to please Tevez?
Tevez buys a yellow Ferrari, to find de Jong already has one, he wants to be the only player with a yellow Ferrari, so we sell de Jong?
I know these are
extremely far fetched, but where does it stop?
I'm not saying that we should ignore a problem with Marwood and Cook, if they are interfering with the players. However sacking these because one player has a problem with them?
If their conduct is causing these issues then look at changing that, maybe speak to current and former players. Sack them because they are shit at their job and make the club look bad, don't sack them due to ONE players demands, regardless of how good that player is.
