The parting Edin Dzekos from the member of the soccer federal league VfL Wolfsburg is imminent. The advisor of the Bosniers stayed already in England, in order to clarify with the responsible persons of Manchester town center the contract details. At the details a change might not fail, does not have financial losses to Dzeko in Manchester to accept, on the contrary upon a Jahressalär of six to seven million euros one speculates. Besides extra payments for the profit of the English league are to have been agreed upon and Champions League. The decision one town centers to enter after the missed attempt in the summer again into the poker around Dzeko stands for the weekend. Owner sheikh Mansour is Zayed Al Nahyan reaches again deeply into his Privatschatulle, in order to get the desire player of town center coach Roberto Mancini on the island. 30 million euros immediately as well as a consulting of five million with the qualification for Champions League want the north Englishmen for the federal league goal scorer king of 2010 on the table to put (we reported). With the VfL hardly still one doubts a change Dzekos in the winter break.

As this is the last window in which we can spend freely that signing him now is important. Cannot think of another spot in this team where we are noticeably weak but I would like another fullback if Bridge is on his way out, maybe one who can switch sides like Zabs. I hear Bayern have a decent one, maybe Antii can fill us in.

I'm not well up on Mr Lahm....but is this the reason Bayern have been after Leighton Baines??

I dont believe we can mount a challenge on 3 fronts with only Tevez and Balotelli (discount the rest). One more is essential even if we keep playing Jo, two if not.

Otherwise an injury and a suspension and everything goes out the window. We're in the big league now, international superstars on the bench!

That's a problem for Mancini to solve, but I'm confident we will find him a space.

agreed.

Tevez - Possibly moving in the summer
Balotelli - Skill but could be red carded at any time
Jo - Not good enough (yet?)
Ade - gone
RSC - Who?

If we're going to mount a challenge for the title or at least consilidate our top 4 position, which is far from certain (see Chelsea) then we need at least another striker and if there are more world class ones available, then we should get two and worry about team selection when the window closes.

I don't think there's a problem if the players are all good enough. You play two or three in one game & two or three in the next etc etc so they're all rotating all the time & in the end they've all played plenty of games. I think the problem arises when your backup players can't be trusted so they end up only playing one game in 8 rather than 2 games out of 3 & they get pissed off. If for example SWP was as good as Silva (& fit), he would have been playing v Villa & Silva rested & vice versa plus swapping with with AJ for the rest of the season. The fact is, he's nowhere near as good as either & that's why he rarely plays.

Is the fee ever a problem?

I still have to rub my eyes that we have an owner that backs our manager with the reddies so readily.

hearing lots of rags commenting...

"i hope he enjoys the bench"
"how are they going to play dzecko, tevez, and balotelli?"
"how will they keep everyone happy?" etc

let's please remind them that it was a lack of strength in depth that cost them last season. when rooney went out, there was no one to fill his void, and they consequently got bounced from the champs league, and coughed up the premier league to chelsea. they could have used another quality striker. someone in the rooney mould. someone who fights hard, with lots of energy, who never gives up, and scores for fun.
Berbatov wins golden boot, spends following season on the bench while his team loses title on goal difference. Well played, Fergie.
