Yaya is not a fit footballer.
We missed SILVA big time .
JO is the worst footballer at our club and fuck knows why Mancini doesn't see this.
Milner is a battler and that's it......a Footballer shouldn't need to stare at the ball at his feet all the time whilst running.

Silva would have given us fitness and telling passes; all of the things that Milner couldn't provide.
But I suspect we would still have spent most of the time inviting them to come on to us.

Don't know about fitness but the passes for sure. There were one or two moments where his vision and passing ability could have opened them up.The least he would have done would have been to worry Arse as he can actually recieve and hold onto a ball which Jo and Milner couldnt

I didn't watch any of it. Didn't dare

But I'm so pleased with the point. We took points off Arsenal on their ptach, and unbelievably opened a gap on Spurs and Chelsea

Of course Utd will be happy, but I really think we can win the title now. It's a long shot, but we have a chance, and I think we are going to get better and better.

Of course we will lose at Leicester now

Yeah i agree, you dont see lung bursting 60 or 70 yard runs from tevez beating four or 5 top class players because he would be fucked! rather than criticise him applaud him for trying to drag us forward on his own and try to win the game for us. Him and Kompany are my hero's!

A point against an in form Arsenal team is nothing to complain about especially after the 1st half. In the 2nd we contained them better even though they kept coming but no real chances. Our defence and Joe were excellent tonight, won us the point.
The absence of Silva was very palatable and with him and Mario on, it could have been a very different story. We still created a couple of chances from which we could've nicked a goal. Didn't happen though (if only we still had Benjani !!!).

Delighted with that point.

Arsenal were on there game tonight and we walked away with a point.

Very very few teams do that when Arsenal are on form.

That point will be vital. Delighted!

Couldn't see the game, but the comments I read here make me think it was a very hard fought point, and even a point can make the difference in the end. We were always going to miss Silva up front, and if Jo was as shit as your comments make him out to be, we played most of the game with ten men again.

All in all it bothers me that we are potentially 8 points behind, I can't wait for the rags to play those games in hand and see how the real table looks like once they have done that.

As an aside, just look at Chelsea's position now.....if they don't watch it, they'll find themselves being overhauled by Sunderland

Got to agree but in a different sense. He cannot improve his fitness or stamina, he's just a very big and muscular bloke. He's built that way to do a specific job and that's why Barca grew him that way, it's just that we want the original - six foot and 12 stone. He can't do that now.

Even though he was fucked he kept the ball better than anyone did tonight and still got forward. Once March comes round and the warmer weather, the better pitches and a recharged Yaya, he will be IMO our most important player in the run in.

Their 2 games in hand are away to Chelsea and Blackpool and their away form is abysmal. Plus they have more matches against the top 5 teams in the remainder of the season than we do.

When you look into the detail, it's not as bad as it seems!

I tend to agree, but he won't be recharged, he'll be exactly te same - eveyone else will be fucked. Trust me, I am that soldier.

So, dependant on games, they could be just our game infront?

happy with that.. i'm not a fan of negative football, but i was impressed for the most part and actually started to enjoy towards the end. It would have been a very big ask to have gone and tried to play them at their own game with only one decent forward.
Right tactics in the end and a decent result.

Arse fans are livid by the way. ha ha

A good night for Manchester and Salford - a bad night for London.

I can cope with that (sort of).

I know, but until they have played those games it's still potentially an 8 points gap. And with Chelsea looking fucked I wouldn't rule out them winning at the Bridge tbh.
