McClaren sacked...

Postby Alioune DVToure » Mon Feb 07, 2011 9:58 pm

... so I've slung a tenner on him for the Baggies job at tens.

Shame for him really as he'd gone some way to rebuilding his reputation on the continent. That Wolfsburg team was only ever going one way after winning the title. How many German teams have peaked and then disappeared from the European stage over the last 15-20 years? I'm thinking Kaiserslautern, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund and now, seemingly, Wolfsburg.

If he does get the Baggies job i wonder if he will rock up doing a Brummie accent in his first presser lol.

Hopefully he'll take the hint and fade into oblivion never to be heard from again.

THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

He's not that bad a manager, got boro to a uefa cup final (struggling in the championship now) and won the Twente's first ever title (i realise they finished runners up/3rd the season before he arrived but its still impressive.

Wolfsburg didn't have that great a season last year either, although they did invest heavily in the summer

It always reminds me of that Paul Whitehouse sketch about gay Dutch policemen.
