Top post. Top phrase - "but Mancini is not building a Blackpool lookalike for a kiss-me-quick season"

But lets be honest its not just Spurs fans. Its City fans as well.

Back in the days of the old Top 4 Super Sundays with the hype and the build up as Taggart took on the Dippers or Chelsea and the nation waiting with bated breath (okay go with me here) for the 'clash of the titans' only for the let down as it finished all square or a cagey 1-0 win either way followed by the well worn phrase 'Two top teams cancelling each other out'.

Sound familiar?

Well welcome to the new Top 4 because we are now one of the big teams and tomorrow will be a game between two serious teams with very serious ambitions and the odds are it will be one very cagey affair. The days of scrappy underdog tearing into the scum died on 1st Sept '08. Let those days rest in peace because by and large they were years of soul sapping fucking misery washed down with ghoulish humour.

FUCK nearly forgot to mention. That Chelsea is the new Derby anyway. Wass all the fuss about?

2-0
Dzeko Kolarov

unless Zabba comes on, in which case it will be 3-0 for some inexplicable reason.

Clever managers learn. The last few games against the shite, we have not attacked and got one scraped win (2-1 cc sf) and bugger all else of note. Teams that have a go at the shite, especially good teams, get something. Sitting back is a recipe for defeat. I hope Mancini is clever.

are ye all that naive?
this is bobbys big plan, everyone thinking we'll go out and not attack, park the bus,
he's been waitin for this game,to turn the league on its head,to show we've arrived!
he'll play 2-3-5,
he told me,
we're as close as two balls in a sack.

Me too, Dzeko with a bullet to the top left corner from about 12 yards out, Kolarov with a 30 yard screamer from the left wing.
