Because realistically that's our target now, the title is beyond our reach I think. No hidden meaning whatsoever, just mentioning that those behind us have dropped two points. We've been talking about that in another thread, so that's the first expression that came to me to describe what we are fighting for now.

Fair point Beefy mate but to be honest I'd rather have saved the money for Boateng and Kolarov and ploughed it into Luiz. I'm not against either player; now we've got them they should be given a fair chance. Still I think Luiz would have solved our left back problem and been great cover across the back four. He's supposed to be left footed but to be honest it's hard to tell; he's that comfortable on either foot.

I agree in going for Luiz, but still see the value in Kolarov and Boateng. I'm pretty sure we were linked with Luiz though and guess that the price put us off, and although Chelsea got him for 25 mil (Euros I think) we would have been held to the get out clause which was twice that.

And for what it's worth, I believe our 2 will come good played in the right position and it's just a matter of time until they click.
