A Yank in Manc

Maybe this is off topic fodder, but I would prefer to have more of you see it. So Mods move if need be please.

I will be in Manchester (Cheadle more specifically) from next Friday Feb 10th through Monday Feb 21st. I will be going to the Derby (thanks Mr and Mrs KK) and to the Notts County game (thanks Spiv). My plan is to be at the Townley before the FA Cup match on the 20th and would like to reconnect with those of you I have met before, and meet those of you I have yet to meet.

Also, I would like to go out and watch the Aris match on Feb 15th. If anyone is going to a pub to watch it, please let me know, I would prefer to watch somewhere with great atmosphere. That said too, my birthday is Wednesday Feb 16th, so I will ask KK and his missus to pick a good spot in the area, and if anyone wants to down a pint with me, I would greatly enjoy the additional company.

Cheers.

Bryan

Will pm you closer to the date but I'm sure some of the Cheadle blues, me included won't see you short of few soul mates.

If you need a lift to the Notts County game give me a shout.

It's a pity that the Aris game is such an early kick off as I think this will affect the number of people who are able to join you to watch it.

They will have it on in the pub at your hotel, but if you would rather watch it somewhere with a bit more 'atmosphere' I would recommend The Kenilworth ([urlnp=http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=google+maps+cheadle&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Cheadle,+Stockport,+United+Kingdom&gl=uk&ll=53.379053,-2.198052&spn=0,0.002747&z=19&layer=c&cbll=53.379053,-2.198049&panoid=IE_0M0q1uYy3jvQ-15y2Ww&cbp=12,161.38,,0,11.27]LINK[/urlnp]) which is a [urlnp=http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Cheadle+Rd%2FA5149&daddr=Cheadle+Rd%2FA5149&hl=en&geocode=FVqXLgMdElHe_w%3BFSaALgMdQnbe_w&gl=uk&mra=ltm&dirflg=w&sll=53.38256,-2.20366&sspn=0.014079,0.027595&ie=UTF8&ll=53.382176,-2.202802&spn=0.014079,0.027595&z=15]short walk from your hotel[/urlnp] and has an excellent curry house opposite (which has a 2-for-1 offer on during the week).

My apologies fella, it's just dawned on me how bloody early tomorrow's KO is and I'm going to miss the first half in all likelihood and I'm not the only one. Looking like a wash out for the pub I'm afraid with our lot.
As KK says above your best bet is the Kennilworth pub, there will defo be blues in there.
Once again sorry.

Hey Blue 68...Tomorrow I'll quite likely be in charge of the steering wheel and Flo goes where I take him...hahahahaha...the power is mine all mine....As soon as we get confirmation from KK, we'll be heading in whatever direction is advised.
Cheers mate.

I don't finish work early enough to get there in time mate. Our plan is to record it, avoid seeing/hearing the result then watch it when we get home.

I hadn't realised that you thought I would be in the pub for it, soz.
