Training Friday 25/2

Courtesy of Neil from Bmoon:
Wasn't expecting too much today considering the match last night.

The senior players Vieira, SWP, Jo and Kolo arrived about 10 minutes later than the reserves group, Guidetti was in a long discussion with Mancini, it looked like he was asking the boss about something but it all ended with a shake of hands and then the session started.

The reserves were out with the subs from last night and were put through their paces by Andy Welsh and Brian Kidd.

Dedryck Boyata made a welcome return to training and took a full part in the session albeit when he was in possession they weren't allowed to tackle him, they'll work that in later next week.

I must admit that my knowledge about the reserves isn't too good but Assulin and Wabara were there and most of them looked good in possession and eager to take the chance to impress with the boss watching.

It wasn't too heavy a session mainly ballwork and some fitness stuff for the senior players after the first ball session, SWP was leading the lads through it.

Some good news on VK he took a knock on the hip with a stray elbow, Brian Kidd said he's hopeful for Sunday.

I suppose training tomorrow will tell us more, i'll be watching Apollo Juniors taking on Hazel Grove in a Stockport Metro Second Division top 3 scrap.

I'm sure DH will be back tomorrow to report on who is and who isn't there.

Loads at the gate trying to get stuff signed, it's becoming a bit of a cattle market there.

That sounds positive on Vinny.

Cheers.

At the game I was convinced that Vinnie might have cracked a rib so I'm relieved to hear today that it was just a bang on the hip. We really don't need to be without our player of the season for any games right now
