I reckon he's going to play a big part in our future.

I hope so and that it isn't only for a few months. BUT the manager has to quickly work out how best to fit in the 3 excellent strikers we have in the squad. And it isn't necessarily by just sticking them all up there because they are good players and expecting goals to flow.

I hope he ticks along nicely and chips in with a few goals, so we can get a reasonable amount for him in the summer and find a player who gives a shit about the club and fans who pay his wages.

As time goes on and he gets used to this league, his team and matures he will be unreal.
I don't think we have ever had anyone like him, he gets a huge cheer before the game, then a huge groan when he does something stupid, his name sung and an even bigger cheer when he scores, then a huge groan when he gets announced as MOTM.

I honestly don't understand all this hype. I keep reading he is the best young player in the world but I just don't see it in his game. Took his goal superb today though.

Whether he makes it as a great player is all down to his attitude and his mental state and only he can change that. The ability alone is already enough to call him a great player.

I can understand why you cannot see it but all i can say is he does. He is probably the most frustrating player any team will ever have, don't forget he was hated by Inter fans despite having a record at 19 years old at a top club like Inter Milan that probably no one has ever had.
Put it this way, since he has come back from injury where his last game was a hat-trick to give him a record of 8 in 12, he should of had a definate penalty which he would of taken and more than likely have scored against Notts County, he hit the post against Aris and scored today, so say luck and good refereeing was on his side, he would now have a record of 11 in 15 games and 6 in his last 4 games and he has been overall poor since coming back. That is the sign of a class player, not a lucky one.

Pure talent will get you so far but there has to be a lot more to be a consistently good player or team.

I just wonder with all the injuries and all the games ahead there is a sense of complacency. No one really available to push people for playing time. And frankly these guys may just be out of gas. I am not making excuses, but that is what it looks like.
As for Mario, I think the thing that impressed me the most, between the diving and grumpiness was his willingness to comeback and help out. I remember two occasions where he came back to help Boateng in the corner. I think the very noticeable negative behavior overshadows what he does positive. I really hope he is a cornerstone for our club.

That was a really top goal he scored out of nowhere when city were really struggling to impose themselves on the game. Also felt his dinked through ball that put Tevez in towards the end was a fantastic pass.
