3 sent off - including el hadji diouf after the whistle. lennon squaring up to mccoist (lennon's fault).

and samaras falling over a lot. anyway - they'll lose to caley thistle in the next round!

Don't know how you can say it was Lennon's fault.

Whilst the man is clearly Friut Loops it looked obvious to me that he approached the handshake (with eye contact!) with McCoist in an amicable fashion but it appeared McCoist then said something that's sparked off Lennon to go mad.

Lennon could though start a fight in a convent!

Great late night entertainment after getting back from CoMS - Rangers players were out of order, Boughera should get the book thrown at him for his antics and Diouf.......well???

Kenny McDowall one of the Rangers asst managers was acting more like a security guard on the night!

As old firm games go I've seen far dirtier games than that, and having watched a recording would say that the biggest crowd incitement is the sight of the management teams squaring up to each other.

Dropping Diouf into Glasgow is just a nightmare as the guy is a scumbag, and even as a Rangers backer I dont want the guy anywhere near Ibrox at all as he's just trouble.

McCoist and Lennon will both be the respective managers next season, and both could do with taking a long hard look at themselves and the resposibilities they have. Not a pretty sight at all, and apparently having spoken to a couple of mates up North it was even more chaotic than the usual mayhem after the match.

In just over 2 weeks time its the CIS Cup Final at Hampden and a chance to do it all over again. Should be lively.

Every time I hear of a game between those two I hope they both lost. Fucking hateful clubs.

I loved it tbh. Good old fashioned passion which sometimes boils over. There was nothing really dirty in the game just alot of handbags etc... Rangers indiscipline cost them in the end. If we should the same balls against the Rags the derby would be a whole lot more interesting here too.

This.

Might have been hilarious for the nuetral but think of the Doctors nurses and emergency service staff that had to deal with the shit that goes on after the game. The domestic abuse hotline is at it's busiest after an OF game. There was a riot in the pub across from me after the game and I live in Edinburgh. I have seen a fight on the bus and at Uni so far today.

I didnt see the game. Couldnt care less. Seeing poor players kicking lumps out of each other 7 times a year doesnt really appeal to me.

And to be fair Ross, these really are the two of the poorest Rangers and Celtic teams I can remember in the past 25 years. Rangers basically have made no investment in the team for over 2 years and have sold off many of their better players; quite how they are even near the top amazes me, as quite frankly theyve been dire for quite a while now. Not exactly a sparkling advert for the SPL and the dwindling gates at Ibrox, Parkhead and elsewhere reflect the paucity of talent.

The incident. It's funny, i think there are still two old firm games, so this will be interesting.
