If Dunnie can win 4 seasons in a row then we should just give Vinnie the trophy for the remainder of his lifetime. This guy has been so solid all season regardless of who has played along side him. I expect the trophy to go to Tevez though just because he scores the goals so takes more of the glory

I don't think this got the credit it deserved.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

David Silva for me for his overall skill, finesse, artistry, neatness and immediate ball control in even the tightest situations, coupled with an admirable work rate and commitment. He's the midfield fulcrum which makes us tick.

Big Nige also deserves a mention, I feel we really miss him when he's not in the side as our insurance policy, inter alia.

Joe. He's got the most number of clean sheets in the league. He makes saves that I know Shay wouldn't be able to make.

Personally, I don't think he can get better as a keeper. All that will happen is his legend will grow and players will have a fear factor of how to get past him.

De Jong for me; seems a strange choice I know, with all the goals Tevez has scored, with how Silva makes us tick, with how Kompany has lead the backline. But a solid defence and the possibility to attack freely rely on a strong midfield which filters the dangers for the back four and allows the creative players/strikers to do what they do best, which is create and score goals.

Seeing things from this POV, and knowing how much our midfield suffers when De Jong is not in it, especially against good opposition, I went for Nige.

Had Big Dunnie scored an own goal the other night, I'd have demanded he was in that list.
As it is...I'm going for Silva. By a short head from Kompany.

kompany has been great, but he hasn't got the ability to win games on his own like Carlos. I think people have been affected by his wanting to leave in december. Scoring goals for City at a rate never seen before.

I think Yaya has been shit pretty much all season. He's lazy, looks unfit and is anonymous for the majority of matches. It really surprises me that some people rate him. I'd be interested to hear why people think he's good.

I'd rather have Milner playing in centre mid than him any day of the week. Yaya has been a nothing but a huge disappointment for me this season and I wish he was dropped.

Just what I have seen in the games.
Its supported by the stats for the player over the season.
The few bad games he had for me are far outweighed by the good.
For me him and Silva have been fantastic in the middle making sure we keep the ball and he is not bad at finding a good forward pass and dynamic run.Defensivley I think David is a bit better but with Barry and Nigel I don't think that is a part of his game he has to be as good as the others cover for him.

I would never give a POTY award to a player that handed in a transfer request and caused us a lot of turmoil - I know it says player of the year and not footballer of the year but nonetheless I feel this should exclude him from any award other than the obvious one....goalscorer of the year.

For me Vinny is the shining example and should be the clear winner by a fuckign mile.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
