Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Now Mancini is shite and doesn't know what he's doing. Now you're calling for his head...and you may get it.
Who's next...and the one after...and the one after that...and after that?

I am so pleased that I have seen City win stuff because with some of you soft twats, with no bottle for the fight and no patience, it is something that you will never fucking see....and it'll all be because there ain't a manager in the world that can turn city into a successful team in one season and satisfy your demand for immediate success.

I'll bet, when your Mums mixed a cake, few of you ever allowed her to put it in the oven to bake...

Manchester City are the only club that can hold it's own Manager Of The Month Award....Who said that?...Shall we revert back to those good old days?

Yes, changing managers can be a mistake. The flip side, however, is that by the same logic, if we'd kept Frank Clark, we'd be champs league winners by now.

A shit manager is a shit manager after 1 game or 1000.

As for your presumption that no manager could make City successful in one season, get Mourinho in in summer and let's see if you're right. Unfortunately, we won't be in the top 4, so he won't come

Anyway, does that mean you think he had his team selection and tactics spot on tonight?

There was no plan on how to score, unless the plan was to give the ball to Silva and then leave him isolated.

When Micah is your most potent attacking weapon in a game something is very very wrong.

Most times when Bob (imo) fucks up, you can see a plan, right or wrong & tactical decisions etc taken to fix it, right or wrong & you can argue the pros & cons of what he does.

By the last 15/20 mins, whether you like him or not, Yaya was in no condition to play a game of football. It had been going that way for quite some time previously; you could see him visibly getting slower & slower. When you're struggling like that, you're prone to picking up injuries. The oppo were running through the hole he was leaving. He was a liability to the team; he did his best to contribute but he was dead on his feet.

It's a new day & I still can't think of an explaination why no action was taken, other than they were so emotionally involved in the game that they didn't notice. I've never seen a player in that bad a condition NOT subbed. Never. You can't look closely at a player struggling that badly & not see it, so I can only conclude that nobody was watching him that closely, they were too busy worrying about the overall shape etc. They were watching the game like fans, rather than a cool headed management team. In other words; they'd lost the plot. It's not good at all imo.

Confusing thing for me Ted,when 1-0 down why did he not bring De Jong on to ensure we had the above covered, Tevez was in there at times SWP was racing back it looked a mess and 0-2 flattered us 0-1 should have been taken AS YOU DO IN EUROPE, TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY !, hindsight is a great thing, 3 mill a yr is what he is paid to spot. As per the Derby decent players always pull onto fullbacks to nick a goal both goals came from dopy F/backs witching off Zabba did it with Nani, last night all be it a great finish for the second we see the same again.

I can't get my head round it. What really worries me though, is that when Mancini was suggested as a manager, I didn't want him at all, not because of the fact I didn't like watching his team's league performances (which I didn't but they used to win) but for the simple reason I'd seen his Inter team in Europe & to me, they looked exactly like we did last night. Exact same lack of pace, organisation & stamina.
