Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

It's a shame you're not in charge of the team. I'd love to see the type of football you would produce if you believe our most forward/attacking centre midfielder's job is to pass the ball sideways and keep the ball.
I'm sure you'll dig out a stat somewhere though to support that ;-)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So rather than pointing out any errors I may have made in my assesment you would rather try and deflect the argument.
Did I not answer your points with adequate examples?
Your right I am a big Yaya fan.
Do you want a stat for when David,NDJ,Milner and Barry passed backwards?
I'll give you a little example anyway,
David passed backwards 4,5,6,28 and 90 mins and a few more,
NDJ 5,11,22 just as a sample
Milner 6,19,34 as a taster
and Gareth 5,17,64 to be going on with.
So tell me why is Yaya being singled out for critisim when he has put in a performance equal to the rest of the team.
All this rubbbish about him being unfit is makebelieve. He may look to be blowing but thats is nothing to do with his fitness levels.
He goot a 6 out of 10 by most independant assesors.About the same as half our team and better a few and better than half the Chelski team.
Ah...you're onto player ratings now by 'independent assessors'. You definitely win this argument then.
I've been told.[/quote]
To me that read as if it was mocking, contemptuous, or ironic language intended to convey scorn or insult.
Now if you tell me that anything you say is more believeable than the people I have found to refer to I am sorry I made such a basic mistake.
I forgot you and the superfan like Ruthless cos of your dedication cannot ever be questioned or thought to be incorrect.Obviously an impossibility.

Top player Yaya, needs two weeks off and i reckon he will be the most important player in these last 8 games.

I said those things I've underlined zero times.
I've checked with some independent assessors and they agree I never said those things.
Actually, I can get used to your way of thinking. It's easy to win arguments when you have stats!

Its good to know that a clueless individual like myself can inform a person who has special skill or knowledge like yourself.
However the bit about you checking with some independent assessors strikes me as a bit fishy(BS, some might say).I know I shouldn't question your statement but I'm affriad I feel I have to ask who these independent people were that you asked.
I have a suspicion that it might be a porkie pie.

His name was Kolo, Ivory coast boy
With diet pills in the air and now he's banned from everywhere
He could tackle. better than YaYa,
And while he tried to be the star, Yaya was better by far
Across the hallowed turf, they show just what they're worth
They were young and they had each other
Who could ask for more?

That goes for most of the team. We have theleast number of forward passes to the final third than any team in the PL.
Light travels faster than sound.
Thats why some people appear bright until they open their mouth.

Total domination for all but 10 minutes today, pure quality even if he was knackered at the end.

Probably his best performance of the season today. He's much better in a position slightly further back, as opposed to the furthest forward attacking midfielder.
Still cracked me up that at the end it looked like he had a stitch!!! What sort of 'professional' footballer gets a stitch!?!?! I'll let him off today as he did play well :-)

Think he took one in the ribs, rather than getting a stitch.
