Was going to ask you actually, Ant- are there many corporate tickets up for grabs for this? I'm going to be in the UK at the time, and was wondering whether it's worth sniffing round people I know. As I haven't made it to a match this season yet, I wouldn't feel right potentially taking a ticket from someone undoubtedly more deserving than me, but this is a route I may explore...

PS- I think the post above yours explains riggers's scenario- doubt he's our old friend!

I wish i was a first year seasoncard holder and had ticked cupscheme on my form.
I'd be booking a coach now.

I wonder if this is the set system now? as long as your in cupscheme or supporters club member your laughing regardless.

Yeah it will be,but i bet the attendences will still be shit.

City will get the cash but people wont turn up.
Perfect for the club they get the cash this isnt about filling the ground if it was every ticket would be a tenner every round.

As it goes im still not gonna join it next year i'm just gonna spend a tenner and join a supporters club.

You make a good point, our supporters club have been brilliant, we wanted 4 tickets together but only had 2 SC (just shy of 3000) and 2 CC (roughly the same points again) between us and we've been informed that all those applied for have been granted - bar those with access cards / banning orders / made up supporter numbers etc. Got to say, joining a supporters club is a good move plus they have sorted out the transport too boot.

I'm after 2 spares for me and my missus. I don't expect any joy with this request, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I will fly over the the game after we win this one. I thought about flying over for the semi which is going to be special as it is the Rags but taking a gamble because i cant fly over twice in a month. It costs an arm and a leg from South Africa and our currency is so crap that a weekend trip is going to set me back a bit. Hope my gamble pays off, getting a ticket for 14 May is going to be hard work.

Although i am in South Africa now i watched almost every home game in div 2 and the following season in div 1, as well as a few dodgy away games. If i was still living in the UK i would most certainly be a season ticket holder.

Gotta be over for 14 May.......

There were huge queues on saturday with a five and a half wait apparently. I waited til yesterday as there were twelve of us wanting seats together and about four weren't eligible til then. Got there at around twenty past ten. There were maybe 50 people there. Got tickets and were gone by ten to eleven and there was not one person there then.
Banning orders have been temporarily lifted for the purposes of buying tickets. I know, as some very silly person managed to get one v Kiev and was more than a bit concerned.

makes me laugh how the club are waiting till 11th april before holding them on open sale.
been hearing quite a few people saying they arnt selling very well to the seasoncard holders now. seems alot of seasoncard holders only have them for the home games and dont bother to go away, i know at least two that sit next to me (when i take my dad, unless my sister goes as is the case with the semi final!) but i would assume they are going but will see them on sunday

I suppose Saturday would have been the rush from the Cup Scheme members for the Cat 1's, there may be other peaks when the SC's with lower points kick in.
