N'zogbia, yay or nay?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

N'zogbia, yay or nay?

Postby Bridge'srightfoot » Tue Apr 26, 2011 4:12 pm

Just stemmed from another thread, Wigan could go down and even if they don't I can't imagine he would be too difficult to persuade.
Wouldn't cost that much either, reckon 10-12 million max.

He's very quick, very good dribbler and dangerous on the ball. Premier League experience aswell.
Heard he can be a bit disruptive in the dressing room but would you take him?

He could be more than that. Look at United who took Valencia and when he fit he nearly always plays.
He's exactly what we're missing, a player with real pace and venom.

Nice little player but we got miles better wing players already.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

If he would accept a squad role then I'd have him. We don't have enough good to very good squad players at the moment.

I really like N'Zogbia and think he'd do a great job for us anywhere down the left.

Who?
Swp's past it,
Johnson's good but not an out and out winger who'll hug the touchline.
Silva drifts inside most of the time, so who is really better?

No we havn't.

SWP finished and Johnson too inconsistent and lightweight.Silva plays a different role altogether.

N'Zogbia has many strings to his bow and is the perfect squad addition. He can play leftback, across the midfield or up front,he has aggression, desire, pace and ability,he scores a few and provides plenty of assists,in short he's a winner.

He had a disruptive reputation as a youngster but that has settled and he is maturing into a fine player. He would not have to relocate, would not command a huge fee and his wage would keep the FFP happy.

No brainer for me.

Definitely. Pace, versatility and - above all else - proven PREMIER LEAGUE quality. Does have a history of being a bit of a tit but whatever.

big yes from me, as much as i hate to say it united are successful as they have players like park, fletcher and valencia that are not world beaters but can come in and do a job, we need more players of this ilk. nzogbia fits the bill and would love to have him here

call me mad but id rather lee from bolton, think hed be a great signing, nzogbia always appears to be an arrogant twat!

In saying that, i think we need a player of his ilk ie a good pl quality winger to not neccesarily a starter but in rotation him ash young or lee, i wouldnt mind albrighton from villa either someone like that, maybe a cheeky bid for lennon?

I think Lee would be a decent signing, too. Get a bid in quick, though, 'cos I get the feeling Bolton won't be a selling club for much longer with Coyle at the helm. Actually, on that note, will Mancini be capable of getting him to play as well as Coyle would? It would be signings like this that really tell us Mancini's capabilities with a squad.

Some good arguments made for him here. Would you take him over the udinese guy from Chile?
