Sister of fu wrote:Just a quick update on our game yesterday. We went into the game with only 12 fit players and no manager due to illness. It was left up to me, two more senior player, someones Dad (his daughter did not play due to illness and he still came with us) and the new assitant coach to get us down to Leicester and get us set up. It should happen more often as we put on a fine display and came out comfortable winners in the end against one of the teams tiped for promotion.
Leicester City 0-3 Manchester City
Manchester City abruptly ended Leicester City's unbeaten record, with a 3-0 away win. Levi Wensley hit home from 20 yards in the 28th minute goal and although the Foxes had a chance to draw level on 40 minutes, when Kirsty Robson was fouled in the box, Courtney Sweetman-Kirk fired the spot-kick straight at keeper Andrea Worrell.
Then on 50 minutes, the Citizens increased their lead when Lauren Beckford smashed home a Levi Wensley corner. The game was virtually all over when Beckford scored her second on 65 minutes, despite Leanne Hall having a fantastic game between the sticks.
Just a side note Lauren Beckford is the daughter of Darren which i think is it quite cool...following in her Dads footsteps and all that.

Oi.
When you play curzon, I'll probably see you there.
My lad plays for curzon, and trains on a wednesday. The ladies always seem to have a match after they've trained.
I'll let you shine my shoes.
