Ricky Villa ripping in to Tevez in the Mirror this morning. Saying he's only thinking of going for the money, nothing to do with family. Saying he should stay with City because he has a chance to win the title.

I can fully understand him missing his children with them living so far away. Sadly he can't force his ex to move to Manchester but hopefully they can work something out that doesn't mean him transferring to a country where Spanish or Italian is the main language.
But I firmly believe he submitted his transfer request at the behest of Kia Joorabchian. I wouldn't put anything past that little weasel. Carlos Tevez is his biggest asset and a contract renegotation at City or a transfer elsewhere means a big pay packet for KJ. The transfer request said Carlos's relationship with the club's management had broken down but it's KJ's relationship with them that's in tatters.
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, it's just possible that you haven't really grasped the gravity of the situation.

I think they saw what fat Wayne did at the rags and thought we'll have a bit of that but City told them to go fuck themselves. As I said he needs to grow a set and tell the truth then we can all move on.

I sincerely hopes he stays. Been the best scorer for the club, and the whole league actually. Im confident that our owners and our manager handles this issue as good as it can be done.

I don't think Tevez ever truly wanted to come to England, despite it meaning that he could retire aged 30 and never worry about money for the rest of his life. He could easily bite his lip, get his head down and carve out an even bigger fortune if he chose to, but there seems to be some mental block against doing so.

I personally can't understand why he still returns Kia's calls, to be honest, and it drives me crazy that so many people take Kia to be his agent - when he isn't one - but there's something about Tevez.

If he could cut all ties and go home, he would.

Brilliant player. Mind elsewhere.

Joorabchian has a long history with Tevez and by taking his advice, Tevez has become a very rich young man. The new fair play rules mean that there is a fair chance that the big transfers and huge signing on fees could well be a thing of the past, with fewer clubs being able to spend such sums without breaking the rules.

This could well be Tevez's last big fee and last chance to pocket another huge bag of cash. We are not talking about Richard dunne here or Joey Barton, Tevez is the prime beef on the butcher's slab at the premium rate.

@ Walmai,
KJ doesn't have to be Tevez's agent mate, all he has to have is Tevez's earhole and pick up a nice fat advice consultancy fee.

if he goes he goes, i will not hate the man like many will and how the scouse do with torres. he is a great player and servant to the club, my only real fear is that we will not be able to find a player that has the same impact as him and can bag us 20 goals in the prem

Its not..The Argy commentators were saying hes fucking off as he had the ticket booked ages ago..City hierarchy have put their foot down.

Seriously......what kind of a captain would do this to his fans whether he was fucking off or not ?

No point in taking the word of any of these media cunts regarding Tevez. There are people deliberately stirring shit; that is obvious. If he's there, he's there, if he's not, then people can make their minds up & call him whatever. Absolutely wrong to allow these cunts to put a sour note on our parade before anything has even happened & we don't know the truth.

Who would have told them this, even if it is true & why would they tell them, other than to cause shit ?

Tevez does a lot of interviews via Argy mate........here they have a panel of former plñayers who are mates with him and they discuss all sorts of shit..apparently him going to Argy tomorrow is supposed to be true...but who fucking knows the real truth.....as you say...wait for tomorrow and see for ourselves.

Honestly if our Club Captain fucks off to Argentina on the day we parade our first trophy in 35 years then I really hope we fucking sell him or at the very least strip him off the Captaincy. I don't care how good a player he is and how many goals he scored.

For me I can draw the parallels to a couple of colleagues I've had over the years who will never come out to our celebratory dinners and nights out with work (I don't mean Christmas parties...I mean end-of-deal/project evenings which is just for the team who have been working their arses off and it's a bit of a knees up and a release and a pat on the back for all).

I've had a few guys over the years (and I mean senior guys who should most likely be showing some leadership and be there to give the pats on the back) who just wouldn't partake, they were real family men and wanted to get home and spend time with the wife and kids. It grated with everyone but in the cold light of day I understood their position and why they chose that.

Sure you can say, this is different...it's football and it's massively important to the fans. Well, I'm a fan....a pretty fanatical one....and for me Carlos Tevez has given his all this season where it counts. Twenty odd goals in the back of the net and some amazing performances and memories.

Yes, I'd like to see him up on a bus grinning and looking happy as a pig in shit with the rest of the City boys....but if he's not there, it's not the end of the world....I'll be buzzing just to see the photos tomorrow and am jealous as a bastard at those of you who get to be there.

Him not being there does not mean he doesn't give a shit.....and I'm certainly not going to buy into more media shit stirring whether he is there or not (tonight and/or next season).

Just gets on with it and calls it how he sees it and just laughs at the press sarcastically. Gotta applaud him for defiance.

I get the impression he's building an 'everyone is against us' mentality in the dressing room, and that everyone is waiting to see us fall. And if Carlos does go i think he'll just use that to spur on the players even more to prove everyone wrong. I think we're in good hands tbh...

I liked when he was asked on BBC about the current squad is enough, or where he thinks needs strengthening and he just said in a nonchalent way: "I think 15 more players." Brilliant, hahaha.

As for Tevez, I hope he stays. He's a great asset. As for him flying to Argentina, we'll see it when/if he's present at the parade.
