Just back from Barcelona, and the City is simply stunning - by far the best place I have ever visited. Went around the Nou Camp which comprised of the museum tour etc, and the club is equally fantastic - its even better than peoples current high regard. I'm not saying that we have no chance in this transfer, but we are competing with Barcelona. Right now, were not at that level. Give it a while, and yes maybe. I just think people need to bear this in mind if we don't end up signing him.

I hate the blazing hot summers. Much prefer Spring, or Autumn. It might be rainy at times, but at least you're not sweating your bollox off.

If you like less bills more personnel freedom better weather, fresher food cleaner surroundings, less crime and probably a few more things then the culture in Spain (for me i.e)but if you like paying a lot for your beer and fags and being scared to take your children out at night and living in a country with the highest teenage preganancy rates bad weather, poor family values and expensive then the culture in as your PM says Broken Britain is for people who like that

Cheers Chinners.

I'm sure we've got as much of all that as somewhere else has got, especially the drugs culture. Not sure about the early Mayan civilisation mid you.

If you're on £200k pw all this is fucking irrelevant, you can afford to be apart from the bad stuff & partake in as much 'culture' as you want. Does anyone really believe people like Tevez & Robinho give one flying shite about teenage pregnancy in Wythenshawe or the price of a packet of fags?

Robinho is a fucking ponce who was too lazy to play in the Premier league & Tevez is a thick cunt who has no social life because he can't speak English & he drove his wife away by shagging 19 year olds. Now she's coming back, he's got someone to talk to & Kia has realised nobody will pay the money so it'll be sorted.

If Barca come in for you, the attraction is that they are the best team in this generation, not the fucking half finished church. Failing that Sanchez can fucking well put up with the purgatory that is Manchester for £200k pw & then fuck off to the beach in 5-10 years time.

Exactly, he should have thought about the well fare of his family, before he stuck his cock in a 19 yr old (allegedly).

If he hadn't done that, chances are his mrs and kids would be here or Spain right now, and wolf boy would be far happier.

Lesson in life my little terrier friend. You might have 100's of millions of pounds, but you will always be a thick ugly massive dick head.

I still love you though.

I think all those arguing that they wouldn't want to live in the blistering heat etc etc are forgetting the fact that Alexis is from a country with blistering heat. Surely he'd be more drawn to living in the place most like his home town - weather wise that's Barcelona, surely.

Bronte sisters or cheddar gorge, it all depends what you want to see. You`ve got clubs in Barca and Madrid full of gypsies on ghb and whizz as well as nice football.

There's number of people trying to explain that they'd prefer weather in Spain to their native Manchester yet Sanchez would prefer similar weather than that in Chile? Doesn't make sense.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I'd live in Fritzel's cave for 150k a week.

Must be a hard life for a footballer to decide wether to go to Spain for 80k a week or move to shitty horrible, teen pregnancy riddled, broken Manchester and live in such terrible hardship under a cloud and a cold winter all while trying to protect your family from streets teeming with crime all for only 120-150k a week.

Manchester seems to have got worse since I left.I suppose everywhere would be a worse place without me.
I think that if you got 150k a week you would do it for a week or two and then fuck off somewhere nice(like Spain).
I think most people if it was not for the oodles of cash that come with playing in the prem were given the chioce would pick the cultuarly barren wastelands in Spain.

A man after my own heart.

I've always been fascinated by the Arctic and I'd love to live, for a few years, in Northern Norway, Iceland or Northern Canada (not too sure about Russia though).

If you're a South American and live in Patagonia or near Cape Horn, or even high up in the Andes where it gets pretty cold, you might not be in favour of hot summers at all.

All in all, what does anyone know of what weather/living conditions Sanchez prefers; it's all guesswork on our part.

Spot on Ted..its human nature...I have gone to shit holes to earn more money (I did whinge like a bitch for every day I was there though) and I think footballers are no different even if they are on millions compared to thousands.

Some players like Zabaleta focus on the positivies whereas the Tevezes of the world rarely will.

By the way...live in Barca or Manchester???....thats like comparing owning a ferrari or a 1972 Robin reliant.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
