Hi all.

Can any of the season ticket holders answer a question for me!

Have Man City been using Zonal Marking on corners for the whole of the last season?

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy insists Luka Modric will not be sold at any price after holding discussions with the midfielder over his future.

Unfortunately for us there is 6 or 7 we dont want but none of them will take the cut as they are footballers.

This was seen as a problem when City were taken over and buying stopgaps and now it's come true, we may just have to live with it or punt these guys out on loan with a shared wage responsibility.

Take a paycut? You're havin' a laff.

This morning, the Daily Mirror had a few lines re Sheik Mansour's team in Abu Dhabi - Al Jazira - being interested in signing Roque Santa Cruz.

If there's any credibility to this scenario, I wonder if it might be a way to get rid of some more of our expensive 'unwanted' players, who are high earners (Bellamy and Adebayor for starters) and who other European teams can't afford (Tevez ??).

Has anyone come across this story anywhere else ??

Rumours swirling on Twitter that we have agreed a Stadium naming rights deal with Etihad.

Would be no surprise - lets call in the Platini Fair Play money deal, especially for that portly French administrator.

Certainly has been rumoured for some time.

Supposedly meant to be the biggest stadium sponsorship deal in world football. We shall soon find out i'd imagine.

As others have already pointed out, I bet the negotiations were tough! Not.

Imagine Sheikh Mansour sat at his desk, "Hmm, let's say £300billion over the next 15 years, sounds about right. Now thats Financial Fair Play sorted for Mr Platini. Now, someone get me Pep Guardiola on the phone as its time to activate Messi's contract release clause."

Haha, if only it were that easy.

Apparently the deal has to represent "fair market value" or it won't satisfy FFP rules, so an X Billions deal can't happen. However you could argue that the highest current deal in the world is the marker point and maybe argue we exceed that because of the growing strength of the brand.

I reckon the deal will be, £100-150 Million over 8-12 Years.

£10-15 Million a season, if we are very lucky.

How far can you go before they call it out as abusing the rules? I am sure nobody but a newcastle fan and Kenny dalglish would call £35m for Andy Carrol "fair market value". you cannot put a price on global domination :-)

In honesty the term "fair market value" is probably put in so the papers can have a dig at us.

In reality FIFA would struggle to say a deal isn't fair market value because of all the crazy deals that proceeded it, like you say.

Andy Carroll, C. Ron, the £100 Million Arsenal got for naming their stadium "Emirates", they all make this whole fair market value thing a bit non.

"Fair market value" will stop billions getting pumped in on a single deal, the genuinely ridiculous money, other than that it's all fair game imo.

As far as FFP goes, we can claim the top amount of any club as "fair market value". So £25M/year for the shirt sponsor, £15M for the stadium. Whatever we generate it will be at the top echelon of what can be earned by any club.

City strikers heading for Moscow

Manchester City duo Jo and Felipe Caicedo both look set to seal moves to Russia.

24-year-old Jo joined City in 2008 from CSKA for £6million - but his switch to England has been a big failure.

He has played just 21 games for City, and has spent three loan spells away from the club - two with Everton and one with Galatasaray.

Now his former club CSKA are ready to take him back on an initial loan until January with a view to a permanent move.

And Jo will not be alone in moving to the Russian capital as Caicedo looks to be heading to Moscow with Lokomotiv in talks with him.

Caicedo, like Jo, also joined City in 2008 - but he has been unable to forge a regular spot.

He has spent the last three seasons away from the club on loan with Sporting Lisbon, Malaga and Levante.

Indeed his spell with Levante was impressive as he bagged 13 goals and now Lokomotiv have moved to secure his signature.

"Caicedo has not yet signed any contract with Lokomotiv," Lokomotiv president Olga Smorodskaya told RIA Novosti.

"We are in very difficult talks with his club, therefore, I wouldn't like to endanger their success by premature forecasting of the outcome.

"Probably, the negotiations will last for a week."
