it was really a fun match and it's helped me fix a footy jones this women's world cup thingy....moreso than the Copa if i am honest. Never thought a month ago i would have said that.

cheers

Likewise. In terms of entertainment it was better than the tripe served up in South Africa last year. Some very very good games.

I take that back. They have been woeful so far. Venezuela is my fav South American country so I hope they hold on.

Do it for Chavez!

Just seen the Brazil penalties. Lol.

Cant believe Elano's penalty. I was never a fan when he was at City but when he stepped up to take a penalty I never doubted he would score.

I wonder how long will it take these two nations to meet each other in a male world cup final. I've watched the game and i felt like i was watching "Rocky". The americans were like Appolo Creed, attacking all game and being the team who dictated the tempo, but after every hit, after every oportunity, the japanese came back better than ever. This was one of the most beautiful finals i''ve seen.

They should take lessons from Brazil.

Brasil with an S Doug and not a z.

Just watched the Paraguay V Brasil match and Brasil took probably the 4 worst penalties I've ever seen.. didn't score one of them and they were knocked out.....which was nice.

Still a Z on my planet Carl:)

And on mine.

I am very pleased with the result indeed. it just goes to show that a team are only as good as their strikers. If you can't put the ball in the net, you don't win.

:-)
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.
