really? i mean it's like saying Brad Pitt's next wife will be a movie star. Hardly a stretch to guess that City will sign Aguero, is it?
Still, OS + Shirt saying "Kun" on the back with that sporty new home collar is what will convince me.
Also, i don't think we're better with Tevez leaving and Aguero coming in...i believe we lose a bit, so all in all, while it's a "reasonable" thing we still won't be better than last season yet imho.
cheers
Doomy mate - I´m as sceptical as the next guy over ITK - but it does seem there are one or two plausible sources on forums which shall remain nameless. One guy even gave dates and times of medicals - bang on. Yes I won´t fully believe it until it´s on the OS but out of the tens of thousands of blues residing in and around M/c the law of averages says there´s bound to be someone with adjacent to reputable or kosher information. As for Tev , I seriously wouldn´t mind the two of them, at least for a season to see how it pans out and to give Kun a bit of time to adjust
Eagerly awaiting that OS splash home page!

So you're a fucking moron who thinks he's funny, glad we've got that cleared up.
Now....
Can anyone answer why he is called Sergio and Kun?

[i]Kun Aguero is definitively heading for the Premier League. The Argetine plyer hoped up until the last moment for Real Madrid, but the whites said no to his last ‘offer’, which happened this last Wednesday. The Argie wanted to carry on playing in La Liga at all costs, and awaited a move from Florentino Perez, but finally the attempt was abandoned. Although Madrid WERE interested in Kun at the start of the summer, they haven’t wanted to fall out with Atletico and have opted not to go for the player. Lucky for Manchester City, who can give him an exit more than fitting.

Alioune DVToure wrote:He's called Sergio because his name is Sergio. He's called Kun because his nickname is Kun. Esky's information was correct. 'Kun' is a character from 'Naruto', a Japanese cartoon that goes out on Spanish TV. The main character is called 'Naruto Kun' and, supposedly, looks like Sergio Agüero.
Agüero earned his nickname Kun when his grandparents noted his resemblance to Japanese anime character Kum Kum

Not sure why mate. They say things differently in Spanish. You have to draw a line between completely rewriting it and translating what it says (whilst in a rush!) How about:
".....City, a destination more than fitting a player of his status...."
I heard the cartoon thing but I thought it was his favourite character as a kid. But I probably heard that on Talkshite so I'm sure Alioune correct.

Solía ver unos dibujos animados japoneses, en los que el protagonista se llamaba Kum Kum. Él se llevaba todo el tiempo saltando, jugando y gritando kun, por lo que se le quedó el nombre.

Dates and times? Interesting... only I believe it was the wrong hospital and it was two days after numerous reports that City were to wrap up the final pieces of the Savic and Clichy deals.
Forget about "ITKs" they simply don't exist and why people feel the need to hop they do exist is beyond me. A select few in the City hierarchy know what's going on.... and they don't get excited and post Neil Diamond youtube videos on fucking Bluemoon.
Anyway, back to Aguero - like has been mentioned, we will most likely not be stronger without Tevez, even with Aguero... just looking at their stats from last season - Tevez has three times the amount of assists and almost TWICE the pass completion.... yet some would have you believe he's the more selfish of the two.... Hmmm...
Ted Hughes wrote:We've been on this for a few weeks imo, since Sanchez opted for Barca.
In previous seasons this would have left me nonplussed but imo the Aguero we are signing is a class above the Aguero from two seasons ago. He's matured as a player & now has the football nous to go with the talent, which is a bigger talent than Tevez.
Nobody can replace Tevez imo, he is unique but the more I think about this, the more I think we'll be better with Aguero.
With both however we would have been unstoppable.
Thankyou Barca for Signing Sanchez as I recon this deal wouldn't have happened without it.

sorry i highlighted the bit i couldn't understand it didnt come through very clear though. I don't get why Real would be worried about upsetting athletico. real madrid are one team that certainly don't mind bullying and upsetting anyone to get what they want, would have thought if anything they would have relished the chance to wind up the neighbours they so often overshadow anyway???
