Ha. Awesome. Hart saves a penalty, picks up the ball, puts it on the spot, and wins the shootout for City. 7-6.

He certainly ought to be taking them before Lescott on today's performance.

Too dangerous to have keepers taking pens in a game. A rebound and the goalie is far from home. Shoot outs is a different mattar though.

In fairness I said it tongue-in-cheek, but brilliant power and confidence.

What Mario just did was funny. End of. Who cares that he didnt score? It means jack shit. It made me laught just reading it.

If he did it in the last minute in a Premiership game Id be furious, but this is a nothing pre season friendly.
Taking him off only fuels the fire of a press looking to pick holes in him.

It means nothing?

It was a fucking disgrace what he did..friendly or not..t.....this is a game that's played all over the world, he has just made himself look a cunt and Mancini was 100% correct in taking him off...hes a fucking piss taker and carries on as if hes Messi when in fact hes fuckall like him...completely unprofessional and his little tantrum says everything we need to know about Mario......Id get rid and now.....a complete cunt.

He clearly thought the game had stopped you muppet. He might have heard a whistle. Over reacting just like Mancini did!!

You play to the whistle you thick fuck...even a retard knows that...apart from you.

There's a whistle sound right before he does his turn. Don't know if he really heard that or if he tried to take the piss, though. He'll get crucified either way.

I get what you were trying to say. Put the ball in the net, ask questions later. I was merely being a pedant for my own amusement - fret not :)

I just got back from the match. There were a lot more City fans there than I thought would turn up.

Today was my first City match and my first football match overall. It was fairly enjoyable.

I thought the entire first half our offense was dictated by the play of Silva which is why when he was taken off in the 2nd the team looked sluggish.

Tbf, when I saw the Balo incident my initial thought was that he thought he was offside. Stupid move on his part; Mancini made the right move.

Savic looked really shaky when he came on for Vinnie. Looked off his game today. The other 2 games in the US he didnt look half bad.
Clichy, despite his collision, looked very good on the left. Nice pace. Dzeko looked way out of it.

Guidetti and Lescott took awful penalties. I don't know why SWP was so far down the line.
Hart was fantastic, despite the LA goal which was impressive.

Bit nerve-wracking but a great match. Glad I finally got to see City play even though it was a preseason friendly with some of the squad players.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Day of firsts for you, hopefully with many more to come.

Things will only get better for city, lots of positives to take from this tour.
