Aye, you may be right, thought Ade had ten. Will he take his 9 then?

Agüero will take 10 and Dzeko will go back to having 9 like he did for Wolfsburg.

I want official mcfc.co.uk confirmation, what a signing this will be.Makes Alexis Sanchez look like an amateur.

Agree. Was surprised he wasn't our main target. This is absolutely the best signing we could realistically have made imo. Can play in any formation we want, with any players we want to put him with. Perfect signing.

Been spending a bit of time watching Aguero highlights on tube of you and while I've learnt the lesson before that youtube highlights aren't always a great representation of a player (samaras) one video in particular got me a tad excited.

Aguero vs Barca 2011.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkEMNkJRc6Y

Athletico get hammered but most interestingly Aguero burns Dani Alves for pace a few times.. Now from watching Barca games last year I know for a fact, Dani Alves is fast as fook.

Pace. Fooking Pace up front is the missing element of this team. Aguero could be the answer.

Fucking exciting this!

I wouldn't say he's lightning quick or owt...but definitely fast. It's more the bursts of acceleration that help him.

More Defoe-esque (of a few years ago) pace wise I think as opposed to Walcott.

I seriously doubt Nasri will happen.

Other than that, that front three is pure Football manager "I used cheat to get billion on my bank account" dream world stuff.

As long as he isn't holding hand in official site, I'm trying to remain calm and cool about it.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

i dunno...i think Nasri could still happen. i've heard Mancini scuppered it with his antics and the challenges already existing for Wenger, but i could see this being an end of August deadline deal. If not Nasri then the Argie fuck whose name sounds like a coffee....you know the one.

cheers

Had a look at bluemoon before - they've a giant thread of people quite literally tracking the flight he's supposed to be on. Seems a lot of them stayed up all night to do it too.

Basically, no need for calm - nothing you say could be as sad as what the other lot are up to.

I think Nasri is still on the cards and Arsenal are just being silly buggers about it. No way they let Nasri leave on a free next year so they will be cashing in one way or another. I think Mancini knew exactly what he was doing in talking to the press about him, let's him know we are interested and if he is serious about coming to City, he will eventually hit an impasse and put in a transfer request.

Izzz normal.

And if not, Pastore.

Nah, well I can't, but I think they might sell him in january transfer window. Too much of a blow for Gooners to lose both Nasri and Fabregas same transfer window.

Pastore can suck my plums at the transfer fee they are looking for and I'm not convinced at all he'd be success in England. And he is really not midfielder as such.

I agree re the blow but his value goes down even more come January and all the buying clubs know it

I think they'll try to convince him to re-sign over the coming weeks (even maybe even try what Atletico did with Aguero, sign him on a four year deal or something, increased salary with an agreement that he can go next summer....for a market rate) BUT if he wont then I am pretty certain they'll cave in before the window shuts
