He did anything BUT shit on Atleti....he signed a new contract so they could get a big bloody value for him when he left. He could have just run his deal down but didn't. He's given them great service and wants to now move on. He does 3-4 years here and gives us the same and I'd happily see him off with my blessings too.

Tevez has given great service too & wants to move on, it's all in the "how". I just choose not to close my eyes & I said that's really the only thing that leaves a bitter taste, am still buzzing about the transfer obv.

Don't get me wrong, as long as he's willing to give his best on the field & performs, great! But I won't kid myself that this is his dream move & I won't be surprised if/when he starts to sulk to join Barca or some other club.

You do not have a fucking clue...not a single clue as to what has happened behind the scenes at Atleti and as to the promises that the directors may have made to Aguero and the potential for them to have pissed around and made this transfer uncertain/take longer than it ought to have. In my opinion he has played a pretty straight bat. He announced that he wanted to leave, that he signed a new contract so they could collect full value at this point in time and then the club played silly buggers so in the end he dug his heels in.

I'd have done exactly the same in his shoes. The lad gave his all for Atletico Madrid and I'm positive that the majority of their fans would feel similar to how we did when...say...Distin originally left. He's done his bit. There will always be some things one could point at as to being sub optimal around the actual ultimate event of leaving any job/club. I have no issues whatsoever with his conduct.
