booing is quite possibly the most childish thing I've ever heard.

agree - booing a player in a preseason game because they were on loan last season to a certain team is beyond retarded

Razak's done ok, seems to link the play well (though has mis-controlled a few times). SWP looks lively in the free role. Guidetti getting no support, Weiss and Johnson inconsistent.

Hope to see Roman come on. Probably fall asleep soon though.

Brilliant volley. Was Barry with a great high ball over the defence.

Savic and Guidetti combined really well a few minutes ago too - suddenly become interesting.

As an aside, Shay has looked fantastic in this game against Chelski. He's going to do well this year.

it was fantastic play from both of them...the ball was peachy and the finish was class. i believe our squad is threadbare for 4 competitions...no chance barry or johnson aren't going to get their chances sometime. And SWP looks like he is finding a way back from the wilderness. Is there a City player you'd be happier for to find his way back, virtually, a 2nd time? he's a happy soul and i hope he find some games this season when we need him most.

Johnson...a nice finish.

Guidetti needs to learn from Jinky's finishing skills. That was well taken.

cheers

Hopefully if he does he'll ensure his wicked stepfather keeps his trap shut from now on.
Delighted for the lad, and also for Gaz Barry, who has been unfairly maligned by too many City fans

Shay is one of the best stoppers in the league. Only behind hart and cech i think. But bis refusal to leave his line leaves him susceptable when it comes to set plays. He will concede a fair few this season behind villa's back 4.

Also that was a beautiful finish from AJ. Calm as you like.
