I know its only pre-season but great result against a strong Inter side.

What else more could SWP have done over the past few weeks to show his worth? Hope Bobby includes him in the 25 and uses him.

Champions!

More silverware.

We played brilliantly, Inter were shut out, the media would be wanking if that was scum that just destroyed them 3-0.

Bring on the season, bring on Aguero, bring on 6 more months of Tevez on the bench.

Top game today, made a strong Inter look ordinary, no mean feat!

Silva was class as per and Balo looked great.

Really bodes well for the coming season!

Good alround performance. Much better from Dzeko today, making more effort to get into scoring positions & wanting the ball much more. Kolarov's best game in a City shirt.

We really need backup for Silva though. If he gets injured, the team just won't function.

Really like the look of Rekik. Looks like a 1st team squad prospect for this season rather than just a future player. For a 16 year old he looks a bit special.

First off, Inter were missing pretty much most of their back 4 and some others (Milito and Cambiasso to name a few).
Secondly, just started their preseason this week pretty much.

Anyways,
Man City started off really strong and were impressive for the first 15-20 minutes, largely due to the play of Balotelli.
The best players today were, for me, easily Silva, Milner, and Balo.
Balotelli was great for those first 15-20 minutes but then seemed to drift off (despite his goal) until his substitution.
Silva was, as always, absolutely outrageous for us. We need backup for him desperately. Huge season for him coming up.
Milner was absolutely everywhere for us today. Not only was he a workhorse but when he dropped back on defense he was very impressive, essentially making it a back 5 for alot of the time. I hope he gets alot more time this year..he deserves it.

I dont know what was up with Yaya....he didnt do much. whereas NDJ does stuff that most people wouldnt even notice but us fans do, I didnt see Yaya doing alot. I only remember one "surging yaya run"....maybe his ankle was still bothering him.

Kolarov was impressive and Kompany was a boss at the back.

Very impressive overall....was hoping to see Aguero though.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Completely disagree regarding Yaya - I remember at least three top class through-balls. That one to Micah was excellent. Another two as well freeing people down the left. He was quietly efficient with excellent passing as per usual.

And I disagree with you; he had one or two neat touches but for the vast majority of the game he barely broke sweat.
But I'm not complaining; we didn't need him.
Just as long as he scores another of his trademark Cup deciders, next week.

His poise is amazing - 16 yo and playing without a hint of nerves in a game against Inter's first team. He should be on the bench for cup games...maybe even PL.

I'd have liked to have seen him tested defensively though...he had it relatively easy in both games. Still - great prospect undoubtedly.

There was one incident where Inter played a high ball over the top and it was their player versus Rekik, he's not the tallest of guys but he did enough to put their player off and the ball went harmlessly out of play. It was a kind of streetsmart thing and was pretty impressive.
