Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Except for mike doyle?

Re: Bellamy - no one can guarantee or know for certain that we would have done better or had more spark with him still in the first 16 - presumably Mancini saw it as beneficial for what he was trying to achieve not to have Bellamy around the place & for those who bemoan Jo being ahead of Bellamy, maybe the distinct lack of interest in the former was a judgement, what was the alternative? Pay off the rest of his wage or not include him in the 24 man squad & have him sat in his arse until Christmas at the earliest? At least there were clubs willing to come in for Bellamy (well definitely Cardiff the rest is just speculation)

"We tend to be blue, rationally blind, emotional and tribal whenever their are issues at stake."

I normally agree with what you say also John, but the above, whilst I agree with it, is something that professional players should be aware of, and act accordingly upon. Bellers was wrong to schmooz the twitchy scrote.

This is the only thing I have a gripe with Bellamy on though, as I believe he has represented us fantastically on and off the pitch. I'll treat it as a slip when he should have know better than to be so fraternal in front of the fans.

cant really blame him. i wouldnt want to take a massive pay cut (which he will have to do if he moves) whilst supporting a charity, which he does.

Yeah because those 13 boys in Africa really require a ton of money to take care of....

It's great that Craig is involved in a charity, but pathetic to use that as an excuse to maintain his personal wages.

Bellamy is a disrespectful cunt and thats a fact - as a highly paid employee your loyalties lie with the company until you are no longer employed.

I can see what he is trying to do, devote himself to us in the hope the fans will put pressure on Bobby to include him.

I just cba with him, we don't need his disruptive bollocks around. We needed him back in 2008/9 to slap some sense into Robinho and the other pussies we had pissing about under Hughes.

Bobby slaps ppl now.

Tevez is covered in bruises & Balotelli is clearly frightened to death of him.

Give over.

He is entitled to sit his contract and there's fuck all anyone can do about that. But that fucking "bohoo, kids in Africa will die because Manchester City try to get rid of players they don't need" act was just simply fucking pathetic.

It's great that he is doing charity but that is his own thing. I give 200 euros a month to Unicef but I'm not fucking moaning about it to my boss or in fact tell anyone about it.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Bob has said that he doesn't want players in his team that can only play once or twice a month and that is why bellers had to go

This. The most ridiculoius part is that after this year, once his contract has run out, it is likely that noone will offer him a new contract. So regarding the longterm planning of his charity he should try to get a 3 year contract now somewhere to have income for his charity the next 3 years... unless of course that was a bullshit excuse to begin with.

36 appearances for Cardiff last season - where did those extra months come from?

So all the other stuff was lies then?

What's Balotelli's appearence record like for last season like compared to Bellamy's I wonder? Or Dzeko's for City? Or Jo's? Perhaps being suspended or not good enough doesn't count though, so long as you could be available if you weren't suspended or allergic to grass.
