So all the other stuff was lies then?

What's Balotelli's appearence record like for last season like compared to Bellamy's I wonder? Or Dzeko's for City? Or Jo's? Perhaps being suspended or not good enough doesn't count though, so long as you could be available if you weren't suspended or allergic to grass.

Hughes signing Jo is gone now, isn't he?
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Cannot understand this 'outpouring' for Bellamy

I get pissed off when I hear that he now (as he enters the last year of his contract) wants to 'bury the hatchet' etc

We needed him in the squad last season and he would have been a great impact player IMO - again IMO by not having him it cost us points - 1 more would have given us 2nd!! - and who knows beyond that

But he (and yes it was mainly him) denied us that option by being so fucking unprofessional that he could not accept (like most of us have to most days) just who is the boss and who pays his wages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whatever blame people lay at Mancini's door it is right to lay much much more at his door due to his petulant and boorish behaviour

Craig - you got your way last year - our club paid out to let you play at Cardiff - it was all down to you mate - well at least mainly you - because you had the choice to shut the fuck up and 'earn' your place in the team - like us poor normal blokes have to

I really like(d) Bellamy and I really wanted him part of our squad - but now sympathy ? - fuck all

People keep trotting out this shite but when they have to actually name the time & place when it's happened they can't. I will never let this go because it's a pile of fucking lies & shite to make a fans favourite into a pariah. The last time I saw Bellamy in a City shirt, he spent the game warmimg up, whilst they showed videos of his goal of the season & performance of the season on the big scteen & the crowd cheered his every move.

Since then, he's been targeted by the PR people to make his exclusion more acceptable & like fucking sheep, some fans have fallen for it hook line & sinker. Bellamy is a difficult character that's undeniable. He's certainly not blameless either. He is however no worse than some & better than others. The lies & fucking underhand shite that is being used to move him on, is the low point in these fantastic times imo. He's been an excellent player for City & one of my favourites in recent decades.

It, stinks, it's like communist Russia & you're a bunch of fucking morons for swallowing it.

Bellamy probably did put in some of the best performances of his career whilst playing for us, and if I was manager, perhaps I wouldn't have kicked him out at the time when Mancini did.

However, the fact is, Mancini didn't like him, whether that was as a person or a player we don't know, and added to that Bellamy has never really achieved any success throughout his career (Scotland doesn't count). Based on what Mancini has achieved with us, and how our pre-season has gone so far, it looks like Mancini made the right call.

We don't know what happened behind the scenes between Mancini and Bellamy but enough happened for Mancini to choose to get rid of him. The fact is, Bellamy has been a problem at every club he's ever played so it's not completely unlikely he did do something to piss Mancini off.

Bellamy has been very professional publicly and only has good things to say about City, and I'll always respect him for that. But if we get rid now, whether permanently or on loan again, then I won't really be too fussed about it, as I'm not sure he's really got what we need to lead us to the Premier League title or the latter stages of the Champions League.

Because Mancini thinks Bellamy's a cunt and can't stand him. Pretty straightforward really.

On a wider point why are we still discussing Bellamy as if it actually mattered anymore?

Bellers had about six good games the season before last. Absolutely stand out games mind you. For the rest of the time he was a passenger.

That is exactly the truth. He had less than ten games but in those games he was MoM calibre. Rest of the time he was complete passenger. Loads of people will hate you for saying that. It's the truth though.

passenger is harsh imo, yes he may not have been effective in every match(what winger is?) but you always got graft with bellers which we didnt get off all players back then...

My view too.
And it's why I wasn't too arsed that he was left out last season. Don't quite get this hero worship for him. He wasn't that good and went missing on many occasions
