IF it's true that Sneijder is going to sign for us, it would be a sort of Berbatov scenario in reverse....lovely !! (unless, of course, "there's no value in the market" in this particular instance).

His reasons for signing for us - apart from the fact that he's a mercenary and only signing for the money - could include him being impressed by the way we played against Inter in Dublin, by the progress we've made and are still making, the players we've recruited so far and the (not inconsiderable ??) influence of his friend 'Big Nige'.

When set against that, it's funny how the Scum's 'history' counts for nothing.
