A Serious Point

Postby trueblue64 » Sun Aug 07, 2011 6:06 pm

We really lack quality strikers....

Mario-Will be lucky if we get 10 goals out of him
Dzeko- Think he may come good given the right service
Aquero- Quality but lets see
Ade- No part to play
Bellers-No part to play
Tevez- Who knows what will happen, quality but can't see him being here the who season

We really need 1 if not 2 more quality strikers for this season

Mario scored 10 goals last season and was out for half of it...

If Tevez goes you can argue we need one more but we need a Nasri more

Mario is a good player but there is something going on in his head, if he knuckles down he will be good for us. but I really have my doubts here, love the guy but he is unpredictable. I agree we need Nasri looks like Snijder is out the question Bobby Manc says so but as you can see below he is for sale, I hope he does not go to the scum.

News: Inter Milan ace and reported Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder has said he is for sale if the right offer comes along, insisting the Italian side 'need money'. We'll bring you more shortly.

I think we should go for both and 1 more striker.

Imo, the typical performance standard of Balotelli & Dzeko is below the standard of Adebayor & Bellamy. Seeing as we've deemed those 2 not good enough, Balo & Dzeko are currently not good enough either. I believe they will get a lot better but they MUST. It's not just about scoring goals. They need to be more involved in the game and use the ball better.

If Tevez stays, our current strongest team doesn't feature either of them imo.

Dzeko would be good if he had the chances put on a plate for him, the guy is a pure poacher. Out n out.

Balo is a write off. Mental off the pitch, missing on it. Get rid.

Mancini needs to have a serious word with himself and consider bringing Bellers and Ade back into the first team picture.

Pace, thats what we lack, while they seemed to have it from everyone on the pitch, even fuckin evans sprinting by three of our players, smalling was like a young cafu, we are too slow and laboured...

Tevez has been so negative about Manchester in general, especially this summer,
"I'm never going back to Manchester, not even on holiday, not for anything. Manchester has nothing for me."
I am honestly expecting anything when he reports for camp. Did he spend all his money cloning himself so
he wont have to put on our kit the next season?

Training Room Banter:

Gary Cook: 'We understand you want out. But until we can arrange a transfer, we expect you to honor your contract.

Tevez (translated): You are a sock sucker!

Mancini: "Even if you aren't the captain, I still need you to act professional."

Tevez (translated): You are a F.A. Cup winning - sock sucker!

Kuni: .....

Tevez (translated): I am still worth more than you are!
Never touch the clowns. Let the clowns touch you!

Apart from the striker situation, it is glaringly obvious that we need a Sneijder 'type' to compliment Silva, and drive the midfield forward. Milner didn't look strong enough on today's performance, and as Roberto has said himself a midfielder is priority, I can't think of a single reason why Sneijder would not be the exact requirement.

You cant base a whole raft of complaints on one poor game against the best team in the country and second best in Europe. Last time we played them at Wembley we outplayed them, without Tevez or Aguero. Fergie has learnt how to play us.

They played exactly the same way. We were a shadow of the semi final team & hampered by having both Dzeko & Balo at the same time, wasting the ball, plus the half rat power version of Yaya rather than the full version & no Barry. We took control of the game in the semi, when Barry & De Jong pressed forward with Yaya. Until then, we got battered, just like Saturday. The team changes & Yaya's return to laziness mode, made that impossible.

however we got to 2-0 that should be game over. I also think we need more speed and not just in the legs. We lack a burst of pace, which at he top end you need, Balo for me is a pain in the arse, Are we to wait for him to be in the right mood all season, Bellers would have terrified smalling, they had Evans looking like Beckenbaur at times, I am not saying he is the answer.

Dzeko will come good im sure of it BUT we need a player who can cross a fucking ball. a few occasions when we had the ball out wide dzeko wasnt even in the box.

Balo - made my thoughts clear on him, complete twat.

Aguero - Will be great im sure

Tevez - Hope to god he stays, we need him badly.
