Pushed Silva close for MotM in my books - thought he was excellent.

Credits wheres due. Class performance by Dzeko. I'm pretty sure everybody was "OMG Kun's header in the middle of Knight and Cahill, he's only 3 feet tall etc...", but that cross from Dzeko was just pure quality, he would had 50% of the goal.

I think it's safe to say that he enjoys playing with Kun, drifted out of the game a touch when Aguero went off. Amazing how quickly the two have clicked

I am happy to admit that I got this guy all wrong. He was MOTM today, edging out Milner, for me. He is a unit and a massive handful. Terrific display.

Dzeko over Tevez every time for me. Tevez is still utterly selfish even when he knows he's not match fit and isn't nimble enough to waltz through a defence on his own. By contrast, Edin is looking fit, his close control is excellent, he drifts wide and stretches play when needed... and he scores. Like watching a new signing.

Silva Dzeko Aguero.

The first choice front 3 by a mile atm, got one hell of a partnership going on.

Tevez has a hell of a job on his hands to break back into our line up.

Kudos to Dzeko, looking like a top top player now.

makes you think if we can nick 40M for the sulky Tevez then maybe we should just do that.

He won't be worth 30M if he spends most of the season trying to crack into the side and scores 10 or 12 goals, will he?

And then there's Mario to consider.

sounds kind of arrogant when we're bitching about strikers who cost 25M a piece. Good problems to have. ;)

The great thing about Dzeko today was that he was up against two big lads & he at least matched them & sometimes bettered them physically. He wasn't doing that last season. Also he's now moving the ball out of his feet quicker rather tham dallying around & getting caught. It looks like he's found the pace of the Premier League.

It6's great when a striker hits a vein of scoring form because it wins a lot of games. We could have that 4 times with 4 different players during this season.

indeed. one of Silva's only faults is that he ALWAYS looks for the pass and the better placed teammate rather than shooting

Did I see Edin do a couple of step-overs today?
