Mancini is clearly thinking "Who?" "Should I know him ?" "Haahar yesss" (no fucking idea who he is).

I think what he actually said was "robertogaryneville i neva F...i bet i neva fort ud be interviewed by me"

So on top of "who is this clown?" mancini may also have been thinking "was that a question? what language is he speaking?"

Rodentian.

Do you know that the best known rat is the Black Rat, or Rattus Rattus to his friends. What's his dad called again?

I recorded the game and watched yesterday. Thought Neville was ridiculous as a pundit - couldn't keep his arms still while talking and I was willing him to cock up when he was using the big sceen thing.

Mate he was clearly nervous. But then it's a big call for SKY to put someone right in there with no experience of presenting. He was extremely knowledgeable about the current players, teams and matches, and I found him better than most of the twats SKY employ.

Neville done it again tonight. Said we look like a team with no egos. Dzeko no one striker at city. All compliments, nice change from the usual.

The only problem neville has is a lack of natural charisma in my opinion. This may be because of nerves though. I'm not sure if he looks and sounds right though - weird I know, but they make up a presence that is needed. Sounds silly, but Andy Gray was SO passionate. It was infectious. His commentary and analysis actually added to the experience. It'll take a lot for Neville to be as good, mainly because he sounds a little meek. The bury accent isn't quite as as demanding as the effusive powerful Glaswegian voice aired by Andy Gray sadly.

I actually like what he has to say though. He's being fair. Very. Though I think he's being very nice to everyone at the moment, mainly because its probably too easy to end up being TOO impartial, as to not offend anyone and win people over. I do believe he means everything he says, but it's gonna be interesting to see how he copes when he has to say the more controversial things.

let's be fair, I bet he knows there is no way that he can have a pop at us at the mo goven our early form, albeit against so called 'weaker' opposition. I wonder how quick he will be to criticise if and when he has the opportunity. Verdict still out in my house....

Can't believe you lot are falling for it, you know he hates us (which for me is his redeeming feature), this is just a classic 'best not piss off the new superpower cos I'll look a twat' phase. As soon as City lose this season he won't be nervous at all as his natural giddyness at seeing us beaten will be to much for him to contain. Seriously if any of you were offered the chance to analyse one of their games on live telly, would you be singing their praises? .... Like fuck you would.

of course he hates us chinners - but as a grown up, i think he's done really well so far as a novice. he shits in the eye sockets of andy fucking gray already. insightful, thoughtful and eloquent. all the things ray fucking wilkins would like to be.

he reminds me of some of my more intelligent rag friends. and i'd happily stab them in the face on occasion too.

No, although just hearing him will make things worst for me, but knowing what type of coverage Sky has, i wouldn' be so surprised if we will watch a City-Scum derby, with Neville and Tyler.

He could be coming out with combined wisdom of Jesus, Mohammed and the Buddha and I still couldn't take him seriously.
