so if we don't get Nasri who is the next option? Mancini hasnt mentioned anyone....

Sneijder seems a no-go, Mata is going to Chelsea, Pastore went to PSG, Cerci is staying at Fiorentina, Parker is not good enough, Modric wants Chelsea.... what are our options for the midfield and winger than Mancini has stated time and time again that he wants?
Mario Gotze? Ganso?

Doesn't Modric only want to go to London? I'm beginning to doubt that Nasri is coming to us - we definitely need an alternative plan which hopefully isn't Scott Parker

I think Modric is in love with Corluka so they aren't allowed to be out of the same city.

All the main journos on Twatter still reporting Nasri deal to go ahead.

London Evening Standard ( James Ollie) reports City and Gunners agreed fee of 22 mill last week , then agents , including Nasr's Dad, asked for fees of 3 mill at last minute.

City said fuck off.

Compromise to be reached " soon" . Fucking hate the word " soon" now.

City " Fuck Off"

Agent " What, forever, like?"

City " Nope"

Agent " When then?"

City " Not sure. It's all a bit tits up now. So Fuck Off till next weekish , then we will give you a bit more dollar than we wanted to, but less than you wanted to get"

Agent " Fair enough. Politest and most profitable way we have been told to Fuck Off to be honest"

City " Now Fuck Off again and we will speak to you cunts about an hour before Samir lines up against Udinese, then we wil give you another opportunity to dick us about and also a chance for you to tell us to Fuck Off this time"

Agent" Great. We will Fuck Off till Tuesday next and start all over again "

City. " Sounds about fucking right."

Agent. " Now thats what I call a fucking compromise"

probably not far off either in terms of the timing that we'll reconvene to try and close it out.

this one's as dull as the Fabs saga tbh. i'm bored of it. i'm starting to want the player less just because i'm impatient which is quite frankly ridiculous, but...maybe, ess normall. i dunno.

I'm starting to want the player less because

(i) his agent is a cunt
(ii) I worry about the wages he's been offered allegedly

The later it happens the more disruptive it is to the team. We're two matches into the season and it appears that Arsenal are ready to move. Player wants to move, Arsenal are ready to sell, we want the kid, agents are playing silly buggers. They're already going to paid huge huge fees, they want more.

Nasri won't get more as a free agent than the silly money we're offering him now, and he'll go back into the pile of available players if he sits out.

We have a strong squad at the moment, we can more than manage without him. I'd be quite happy to see us tell the agents to get lost and let Nasri and everyone know exactly who was to blame, if he's unhappy.

Adebayor is two years into a five year contract with us and we've learnt an expensive lesson, I hope about how we can get burnt signing expensive prima donnas (with histories of poor relationships with fans/officials) from Arsenal.

Signing guys like Silva, Aguero and Dzeko with top notch attitudes: yes please.
Signing guys like Tevez, Robinho, Adebayor, Nasri, Bellamy, Balotelli with question marks: potentially yes, but with caution.

Adebayor: Appearences 43, goals 19.

Not that tough a lesson imo.

FIFA / UEFA should install a payment cap on what agents earn per transfer in relation to what they actually contribute to the beautiful game.

10 fucking pence.

I said an expensive lesson
£25m transfer fee.
£7m a year or so, contract for 5 years.

We had the use of him for 18 months, started well, turned sour. Despite having a good loan spell with Real Madrid we're struggling to get rid of the guy.
