Yep spot on, rather test ourselves against them than get a horrible Eastern eurpean group that we struggle to get through, also if we get them in groups we cant get them in next round which would give us great chance of quarters as we cant face english teams either.

As we are a third seed in this draw, I will bet we are the third seeded team that nobody wants in their draw. Correct me from wrong but we could end up with something like Barca, Bayern, City and Udinese as a group.

I also guarantee that whatever group we are drawn in, ours will be referred to as "The Group of Death"

gonna be interesting innit...

any experienced CL team is going to be a big challenge, but i would choose Barca too.. might as well jump in the deep end, give it all we've got and see how we do. In the groups it would not be as crucial for a result as the knock-out stages.. so we could learn more basically, and get a feel for what e are ultimately up against.

i'm with this...FFS. i feel like ANY team that gets into the group stages could beat us and vice-versa, including Barca or Madrid.

i have no idea what to expect in terms of how Mancini sets up for this...he didn't exactly shine at Inter, did he? esp. considering that the Special One basically won the competition with Mancini's team bar a tweak or two, right?

As you can see, some teams are still uncertain of what pot they will be in based on how the playoff round ends up today and tomorrow, but we are guaranteed to be in the third pot.
