Also, can some brainbox throw up a list of all the different pots so we can see all the possibiities?

As you can some, teams are still uncertain of what pot they will be in based on how the playoff round ends up today and tomorrow, but we are guaranteed to be in the third pot.

So the only teams we definitely can't be drawn against are Twente and Lille? Have I got that right?

Twente only if they qualify. So, that leaves Lille & the english teams obv.

I doubt it. If you look at the wiki link above, it shows Olympiacos & Fenerbahce both ahead of City & still a dead cert for pot 3. It could help someone like Dortmund or Zenit or such, depending on the pot the "wild card team" will end up in.

Ahh i see.

Some rumour that Le Arse may well automatically qualify because of this but there is certain to be some strong resistance from the turks who I'd imagine would want to be represented in some capacity.

We will be the team everyone wants to avoid from Pot 3. Whatever group we are in will be the Group Of Death.

I'm firmly in the "hope we get Barca" camp, would love this team to test itself against them and that is the sort of tie that would get my mouth really watering. Not really scared of anyone but think we may be 12 months of gelling away from really having a chance of winning it

No, defo pot 3.

If Arsenal go out, Milan get into pot 1 & Zenit into pot 2.
If Benfica go out as well, Ajax get into pot 2.
If Copenhagen go out as well, Basel get into pot 3. If Copenhagen qualify (which seems unlikely) they'll be definitely in pot 3, so no impact on our seeding eiher way.

Valencia - cos I´m in love with the city and would be an ideal excuse for a mini holiday over there
Dortmund - cos I´m in love with the stadium
that means we can´t get Bayer or Barca from pot 1 so that leaves either Porto or Inter. Not arsed.
