Sounds like she's setting up a possible attempt at some kind of injury claim against the club.

If it turns out that Cook has lied about this then he has to go, no question. If not, he shouldn't have any case to answer.

If the owners deem he's brought the club into disrepute, it won't matter what you think. Similarly, if he lied to them about not sending the email, he'll be gone. You can't have a CEO who lies to you when you're writing multi-million pound cheques for him.

There's a lot fishy about this story, not least the timing, but I suspect it will be the end for Cook

Well I fuckin hope not. I like Cook and I have done since he joined the club. He's symbolic of everything that's good about the way we've progressed since the Thaksin takeover and in Summerbees own words 'irreplaceable'.

So what if he's become some sort of Boris Johnson baffoon with some of his gaffs. That just makes him more likeable, IMO. He's deffinatley done nothing that warrants a sacking and if the press do claim his scalp, it will be a travesty.
