What's do you think the chances of Mario and/or Carlos getting a run-out, considering Dzeko and Aguero have been away on International Duty?

How could I possibly read the mind of Roberto Mancini? Personally I would be amazed if Carlos didn't start against Wigan though and I would have thought it was the ideal chance to give Mario a run out to show what he is all about.

Didn't he give you that look; you know, the one that says it all?

Plus, I'm sure you seen the set-up ;-)

There have been many times when the way they have trained, especially the players used would give away the team for the next game but I don't think it did today (nor did it for the last one). The first"team" he worked with today could be the Wigan team but I feel sure it wasnt. The defence was very likely but not the midfield so maybe he was mix and matching just to keep watchers guessing. Or maybe the players?

With the quality we have you could select any 11,any formation and if they play well on the day we would have a great chance of winning.Just think if Carlos and Mario start we have Dzeko and Aguero on the bench!

Cheers pal.

Is young Micah training with the bunch or doing fitness work?

young Micah as against old Micah? Yes he was in full training with no sign of any hamstring issue. Life and soul of the party as usual.

With Nige still not certain and Barry having played both England games I wonder if Owen's going to get a shout? Might be a good idea to see if he can last a game.

That'd be an absolutely stupid risk. It'll be Milner and Yaya, and rightfully so.

Swamp dwellers are really worried that he might be a success. If I were manager I would have him on the bench ( assuming he is fit enough) and hope to bring him onto a comfy match situation on Saturday just to get him some minutes in a game and see how it goes.

I dont blame them...At the end of the day..UTD gave up on him and we got him for nothing..It would be sure sweet if he can be a part of the squad and contribute well within it.
I know hes an ex rag and all that, but i reckon he will get a very good reception from the fans when he hits that pitch mate.
Like you mention DH..A 10 minute spell against Wigan would be sweet.

There is not many people who openly welcome any player from them but there does seem to be a sense of sweet justice at the moment when we sign one. I think it's because if we signed one from them before we all knew that they were cast-offs that couldn't make it, whereas now we are taking top players and it's kind of nice to listen to their rants on how they can join us.

Dude - Sweet.

Agreed, Barry has a twist or something and deJong his toe. hargreaves said it will be at least 6 weeks before he is considered.

For the record I think Dzeko should start every game right now until he runs into the ground!

After all he only takes half as many strides in the match as Tevez and Aguero!! :-)
