I watched the Celtic v Barcelona highights, looked quite evenly matched tbh, Celtic just didn't take their chances. Open play seemed pretty like it might have been quite even.. certainly not dominated by Barca. Though thats only highlights i'm going off.

Mancini, Kompany, Zabba and DeJong all down at Ewen Fields watching tonight.

Twiiters suggest it was close game.

"Barca's winner, from man of the match Babunski, was a quality strike and the difference between two well-matched sides"

Babunski ! is wrong i think, nextgen saying it was Miguel Angel. Which wouldn't be surprising.. didn't we try to get him or was it Chelsea who were trying to prise him off Barca.

There will be highlights soon enough on Yootoob and probs the NextGen website

Not a great game at all imo which was a disappointment.Barca did deserve to win I thought even though their first goal was a wicked deflection. No surprise that Harry Bunn scored our equaliser, great finish too from a tight angle but their winner was a cracker as well.I will be interested to see the goals on tv as I cant help but wonder what the keepers were doing.

I think on a different night we could have lost by more as our left side of defence was so wide open they should have worked it more and better than they did.Meppen Walters is not a left full back and just seemed to aloow balls to be played to the wide man from anywhere and ,although he stopped him a few times, was beaten too easily for my liking.Overall i think we didn't press enough and allowed them to get their heads up to find passes. We seemed to have to deep midfield holding players who just didnt get hold of the ball enough and left it to a front 4 of Bunn,Henshall,Suarez and Roman.

I always feel Bunn is going to score and he did yet again and was aconstant threat with his tireless running. Suarez showed glimpses but too often with his head down or a bad final ball,Roman had a frustrating night where not much went right and Henshall sparked a few times but doesnt quite do enough. He missed a great chance quite early on where his full back slipped and he hit the post in a one to one with the keeper. Bunn headed the rebound and had it cleared off the line.Henshall also got one or two very good crosses in which didnt quite work out.

As for Barca , they had quality but nothing that stood out too much even though Babunski scored 2.I thought their left back was as good as any ( Grimaldo). A proper full back who loved to attack and is very quick.
