Did he!.. hmm.

has he had a tantrum?

No I don't think so. Bob said that he won't start though & he'll have to accept it. Perhaps he's used the wrong English again though as I'm sure he'll play v Brum.

Lescott was fire fighting after the breakdown of our move leaving us exposed. To blame him for it suggests an agenda.
Let'shave this right, Lescott played well last night and has so far this season been the stronger of the defensive pairing with Kompany. No need for Kolo, that's a stupid comment.

I recon I shouted 'well done' at Lescott more than any other player. A lot of people just seem to see a shit performance whatever he does though, including the bloke in the MUEN. Imo he does most of City's defending.

Well it is pretty safe to say that the people who count won't have missed Lescott's contribution. Bob and the team will know exactly who is contributing what.

I thought Lescott was bad for the goal - ball watching instead of bumming the runner....

But its Kompany I'll be watching like a hawk. Woeful.

Kompany has been amazing for City. What's happened? Confidence? I thought he showed signs of coming through on Saturday when there were a few 'none shall pass' tackles, his usual stuff, etc. He's not started so well and it is a slight concern.

Last night Kompany showed a little bit of indecision.. could be just nervousness. In the league and in general it may just be the extra burden of having to be perfect as official captain. If pushed I'd put it down to that, personally.

He was making the same silly mistakes when Tevez was captain mate....he just needs to focus more thats all.

It's as I was saying, it's all good and well to have players who'll score a stunning 4th in a 4-0 win but what makes champions is being able to dig out wins late on in games when you haven't played that well.

I'd really like to see us pose much more of a threat in the last 10 minutes of matches.

Unlucky. That wasn't a bad reply actually. A better one would've been...

I would hazard a guess and say Fulham are in for a battering.

The problem with our defence is the same as the discussion we had last season with our goalkeeper.

Some keepers look good when they are being battered because they are constantly in action and never just standing around. What we need is a keeper who can stand around doing fuckall for 20 minutes and then spring into action to make 1-2 crucial saves a match.

Our defence is being protected this season by the fact the ball is spending most of the game in the opposition half. Players like Kompany, Lescott, Toure need to adapt to doing less, but when they are called into action they need to be perfect.
