City v Fulham Predictions Thread

Postby Beefymcfc » Fri Sep 16, 2011 5:44 pm

Just for fun, here's what the pundits had to say.

Merson

Fulham v Man City

PAUL PREDICTS: 0-3

Roberto Mancini has really let Man City off the leash this season and they have been absolutely phenomenal. If they go to Craven Cottage and play the way they have been they'll run away with this one.

Lawro

Fulham v Man City

Wednesday's draw with Napoli was a difficult welcome to the Champions League for Manchester City, but it was not a bad result in the end.

Returning to Premier League action after their European exploits is something else City need to get used to and they will be hoping for a repeat of their last visit to Craven Cottage, when they won 4-1 and Yaya Toure caused the home side massive problems.

The strength of City's squad should mean they are fine and I am backing them to see off Fulham easily enough again.

Fulham looked short of ideas in their draw with Blackburn last week despite having a lot of possession, and they did not look like scoring.

Their manager Martin Jol needs a win, so what he doesn't need is to be playing City at home.

Prediction: 0-2

I'm going for a 5-0 to us, Jol hasn't got a clue.

Dzeko x 2
Nasri x 1
Tevez x 2

It's hard to predict with not knowing who he will rest if anyone for brum, or if he will go for the first team on sun and second on wed giving the first team a week before having to play those scouse cuntaloons.

Anyway a wild stab in the arse, i'm saying 3-1.

What he think is his best for that match. Against Brum the likes of Balotelli may get a run out!

I'm with Merson for once. 3-0 to City.

2-3 to us

we'll gallop away and tire at the end but hold on.

Fulham use to be a right bogey team for us.

There's no conspiracy, honestly mate. Also, like Graham Le Saux was saying on TalkSport the other day, how lucky United were to get 6 home games after a CL week while we got all away games from the random game generator where he stated that it's always better due to the travel etc, then all 3 of them proceeded to laugh away.

If the chances of getting 6 numbers on the National Lottery are approximately 14,000,000 to 1, I wonder what the odds are of getting 6 homes as they have done.
