Well that was rather disappointing. As a positive we responded to their equaliser which was good to see, but we should never have allowed them back into the game.

I am struggling to find anything positive. City were terrible. Kompany, of all people, is now a big concern.

Unfortunately, it's not just DeJong. He would help, at his best, but chances are coming from all areas. He can't be everywhere. We called it pre season rustiness when it happened v the rags but it's happened in too many games, particularly 2nd half. Even v Spurs we had a period where they almost scored 3 times.

I saw it coming 1st half & said so. I thought 2 goals would solve it but no. We're not right at the back. The whole defensive unit isn't currently good enough to accommodate 4 attacking players plus Yaya Toure & win every week. That's the hurdle we have to overcome. Whether Bob can do that with organisation or whether we just have to find better defensive players who can play without cover, I don't know but I hope we don't have to go back to playing in our own half with one less attacker like last season.

Napoli & this game were the test of our credentials. we blew it. Still, we're great to watch & will certainly get there eventually. Doesn't look like being this season though, unless the rags lose to all the top sides away from home. Today was a big one.

he didn't have his best game, but thought Yaya was one of our best players today. All of our possession in the 1st half went through him. Simple 1-2 touch linking front to back,left to right. He's absolute class.

But I don't understand why Mario has been frozen out so much. He didn't look too bad in the 10 mins that he can on a few games ago. Plus if we need a goal he can definitely make something out of nothing

Right , where do I start? Think I´ll start with Dzeko. Wtf was he still doing on the pitch coz he had a fuclin mare from start to finish. Tevez shouldhave been on for him after the second goal. Then he takes Silva and Kun off. Fuclin useless twat Mancini. All this against a fuclin yeam with an average age of about 302. Nasri disappeared again and I´m seriously beginning to think we should have kept SWP. With his energy we would have won no problem. Seemed like a repeat of the charity shield for me, played average to poor, two goals up and instead of killingnthe game (whether that means scoring more or parking the bus) we decide to carry on playing shit and end up getting fucked. Winning ugly is an art we need to learn, fast.

Clattenburg, useless cunt. Shocking performance from all involved, cannot drop points from a 2-0 lead.

You can't blame a useless, possibly bent referee for that result. We were abysmal for most of the second half, and instead of killing Fuilham off we bottled it/became complacent/reverted to type/etc. If we'd kept playing we could have won four or five nil, but we didn't fancy it after 50 minutes.

Kompany is not playing well at the moment. It has been coming. He needs to sort himself out and look at his decision-making. He has made some elementary errors in the last few games and we have generally been lucky/good enough to get away with them. Not this time. Fulham had had nothing until the goal but that goal gave them enough confidence to go on and cost us two points. Captain or no, if you are costing your goals, you should be dropped. Kolo and Lescott for me next weekend. Mancini needs to tell him: "Sorry Vinny, I love you to bits but you can't keep making stupid fucking errors and expect to keep your place in this team, sunshine. Earn your place back."

I'm somewhere in the middle of this argument. Even at 2-0 we weren't really overwhelming Fulham, who did exactly what Napoli did by leaving Yaya and Barry to keep possession and trying to snuff out the front 4.

Richards got on the ball in a good area of the pitch and the ref stopped play for Duff to have his knee rubbed. Fulham then pressed the ball all the way to Joe, who booted it out of play and a minute later Fulham scored, getting the crowd back onside. I was fuming at Clattenburg for that whistle even before they scored.
