I think they were tired, he wasn't making excuses. What they should've asked is why only 2 changes from the team that played midweek or why he didn't rest a couple of players then.
I refuse to believe professional footballers can not play 2 matches in 5 days. If so there is serious problems with their fitness. We messed up big time today, nothing to do with tiredness

No, they looked sloppy and far too complacent. When we took the lead we really should have pushed on and put Fulham to the sword. Often once we get a leader we sit back rather than push on and today we got taught a lesson. Also when the other team is pressing you, the worst thing you can do is take off an attacker for a defender. It simply invites more pressure.
We let Dzeko get too isolated and Nasri just didn't show up today.
