Gai Asulin

twatted that he isnt in the squad tonight and might consider his future. Now i know thats a poor attitude to have but i think its a shame. ive read loads of good reports about him and the the few reserve clips ive seen of him he looks very talented.

was hoping mancini would give him, roman and suarez a run out. perhaps the latter will.

I really don't blame him. He needs football. He's too good for the EDS. He'd thrive amongst better players. What chance does he have at City if he's too old to play the next gen games etc?

He should have been in the squad tonight.

If that's true I just got to ask who does he think he is?

A player that was probably promised opportunities?

he had his chance to impress and obviously hasn't done so here or at Barcelona. If both teams don't think he's good enough, why do some people here think so? Reminds me of everyone asking about Micheal Johnson

Pure speculation as we don't know what the club/manager has promised to him.
I understand he will be disappointed but how about considering his future without posting stuff like that to internet?

Nothing is guaranteed. He may have been told if he plays well enough he can make the 1st team. But he hasn't. You think Mancini would actually guarantee him a spot regardless of how he plays?!

if he's not deemed good enough for us of course he should look elsewhere - any other approach would lack common sense

He shouldn't be tweeting anything at all about what goes on between him and the club.

Surely he should know by now that Mancini is the sort of manager who will not take any bullshit. If he thinks he's good enough, then he needs to prove that to Mancini and the rest of the players. Airing your grievances in public is not the way to go about it.

Presumably has chances to impress in training yet doesn't make the squad. Maybe not doing enough when opportunity does knock

but according to various reports he has impressed in the EDS games. why not give him a half in this game to show if he can offer anything.

if it was gonna happen for him here the chances would happen in this sort of game. i reckon he'll be loaned out now.

I have seen him play a fair few times but sadly last season he goa bad injury which kept him out for a while. He impresses me every time I see him with his touch and pace and a great ability to run with the ball. Not always great with his final ball but for me deserves a chance to get into a first team squad especially for a game like Brum.

I am sure his tweeting won't do him any good at all but it seems nowadays many footballers just aren't capable of sensible thinking. As for the training thing Gai rarely trains with the first team squad so I can't pass a meaningful comment ( although he did yesterday and was ok ) but it also means Mancini won't have that much first hand knolwedge of him either and would mainly therefore rely on feedback from Andy Welsh.

Personally I would be disappointed if we just let him go without him having a chance in a first team game to show what he has.Still time though so I live in hope.

I've only seen him once - against Burnley Reserves the other week.

Have to say I was completely unimpressed with him - as I was with most of the others on the night.

I know it was only one game but ........................

No, don't think he's been seen since 20 mins vs Real Madrid in pre season, and maybe a 1st round League cup sub appearance. That'll be enough game time for the next 2 years then.
