I swear he scores in every game he plays in. That's what it seems like anyway.

Is he the real deal? Or is he basically BWP or Ched Evans the second?

Hadn't realised he was that old already. Needs to go out on loan in January, preferably to a premier league team and let's see if he's got what it takes. If not, sorry, thanks for the time and good luck with the rest of you career.

Well I wouldn't rule him out that quickly either...look at Welbeck and Cleverley. Welbeck's will turn 21 when Bunn turns 19 and Cleverley is 22.

Yeah I agree - my point was just that it seemed to suggest we loan him in January and send him on if he's not up to scratch after that loan. He's got a couple of years left at City yet to prove himself imo.

But yeah, we need to get him out to some clubs - maybe a championship one in the new year?

How about following in his fathers footsteps? Oldham Athletic under Dickov are desperate for goals at the moment and a loan spell there in the second half of the season would be a good start. Teams would rough the kid up a bit and teach him how to tough it out in games, there's also a half decent midfield there to provide service with a good winger in Chris Taylor. Other bonus is the coaches can keep a very close eye on him while on loan and possible still train with some of the city players.

League one is probably the equivalent of the SPL (where Weise has been) maybe better so half a season there and then a full season in the Championship next year after he's proved he can score in league football, steady progression.

Bunn is a quality striker and has been at every level he has played so far. Very direct and ,although not tall, has a strong physique and knows how to use it.Quick as well without being lightning quick.

If Mancini doesn't plan to give him first team opportunites ( and I don't think he will) I do think he should have a spell on loan somewhere but maybe next season. If that is the plan I think it would be a good idea to involve Bunn in some first team training as he would have 2 brilliant player role models to learn fron in Tevez and Aguero.

:) In all honesty I've never seen the kid. But I remember meeting a lad through a mutal friend and he was telling me about how good David Ball is and how he stood out when they were at school together. So from now on I never get excited about any 'kid' until I've seen them with my own two eyes.

Agreed. I don't think it helped him being played wide left on most occasions though. Couldn't understand that at all tbh.

It was almost like schoolboy football. Anyone who can use their left foot in any way, shape or form gets to play left midfield.

Or perhaps the reflection of the floodlights off his bald head was lessened when he was out wide.
